💙 In Memory of Rotarian Alan Prem 💙

The Rotary Club of Wickford recently held a dinner at the Royal Tiger to honour our much-missed friend Alan Prem.

Thanks to everyone’s generosity, we raised £500 for Porridge & Pens, helping to provide computers and solar power for children’s education in Ghana. 🇬🇭💻☀️

A wonderful way to continue Alan’s legacy of kindness and service. 🌍💫

***CHRISTMAS CHARITY RAFFLE FOR ASTHMA + LUNG UK***

This Christmas, we are raising money for our chosen charity, . We have donated a prize worth £50, consisting of a microwavable Warmie Christmas teddy bear, Baylis & Harding products, edible Christmas treats and more goodies!

Tickets are £2.50 each or a strip (5 tickets) for £10. Due to this being for charity, we are only able to accept cash donations for tickets.

Winning ticket will be drawn approximately 2 weeks before Christmas (just in time to enjoy your prize!).

All proceeds go directly to Asthma + Lung UK.

Last week, on Saturday 4th October, we held our Music for a Cause evening in aid of St. Luke’s Hospice. 🎶

We’re delighted to share that together we raised a fantastic £940.00! 🎉

Your support, generosity, and enthusiasm made it a truly memorable evening — perfectly capturing our Rotary ethos of Fun, Fellowship, and Fundraising! 💫
