🧠 Family mental health: building resilience in children
Children develop resilience through everyday experiences and supportive relationships.
Ways to support positive coping:
• Keep routines and clear boundaries
• Encourage children to name and talk about feelings
• Model calm coping strategies (e.g. slow breathing)
• Praise effort and problem-solving
• Make time for connection and play
