Got Lithiums batteries ? do they cut out at times ?
With a Lithium battery there are two components, you have the BMS , the battery management system circuit board and the actual cells. Depending on the AH rating you can have from *12 to upto *48 cells, *this depends on the type of battery cells used and their configuration.
They are looked after or shall we say managed by the BMS , so it controls the charging and the discharging of the cells but also monitors the temperature of the unit as a whole..
*Now the cells themselves have a cutout circuit actually fitted on the top part of the cell and that breaks the circuit should the voltage of that cell go too low .. YouTube videos showing you how to remove this and once again charge the battery but be warned.. it's not safe..
* Not all cell types have this protected cutoff.
BMS do fail often. ,,, out of 10 lithium battery failures , 8 of them can be BMS related…
Key thing to remember ... keep them charged , Most manufacture original supplied chargers are safe ..
