On the subject of S-Drives again, the status light , now if you're thinking the led status light is not so bright anymore ? Now that could be the start of internal voltage issue within the controller.If you notice the led flicker or loss of brightness as you power away also spells trouble. So whats happening here ?

Okay as long as your batteries aren't dropping voltage. Weak.

Internal voltage regulator is becoming weaker , lower voltage because the motor control circuit is drawing more power.

So dont ignore it, message me. Not sure then send me a video of what's happening.

If you have a boot scooter , that's one that can be broken down and transported but never actually taken apart, suddenly starts playing up, flashing status light or beeping .. take it apart reassemble and there is a good chance it will work again, why , a bad connection, back axle to the chassis or the battery pack, you will be surprised how many times that advice has actually fixed the issue ..

Controllers and their common throttle faults.

>> most reported fault

Rhino (blue fin unit|) motor output failure 2- 3 flashes

Rhino2 black 9 flashes internal fault

S- Drive all types - 7 flashes throttle issue
beware 9 flashes with a s drive can mean faulty brake , the flash codes meaning can be changed.

Curtis 1212 - 9 flashes internal issue.

7 flash code on a S-Drive but you replaced the throttle , still no joy , now you tried another S-drive and it works okay , must be a faulty controller ? 99% of the time NO, the controller wants to see a resistance on pin 9 , the speed pot pin..

quickest way is to loop a wire from pin 2 to pin 9..

KeyFobs for folding mobility scooters ? are they repairable ? yes , don't forget if you buy a replacement then most likely it will need to be matched with your scooter and how that done depends on your brand of scooter .

Most common fault is a low battery problem, normally two CR2016 type battery or the CR2032 fatter battery.

and yes they can be repaired cheaply as long as that processor is not damaged ..

Questions ref Green power compatible scooters..

In a Nutshell, they repairable ? yes

The controllers 48/60V ,four/five battery models, the motors and the gearboxes.. all can be repaired cheaply ..

Motors, sensors go faulty or broken motor wires ,,

Gearboxes, bearings are a common issue , can start to seize blowing the controller.

Controllers, mostly mosfets and feedback sensors blow,, I always overrate them so once repaired they should stay working ..

I'm here if you require assistance and its free, just message me or drop a email etc... please be careful with some of the YouTube information videos most of them could finished costing you more money, they either incorrect or miss bits out that can make the difference between working and not working … Making the repair look impressive when it fact they fake ..
