We may have been a little quieter on here recently, but it’s been busy here at Dashwood! 😁
🥑 Audrey and Elaine enjoyed avocado and poached eggs on sourdough together — Elaine mentioned her love of avocado and Audrey admitted never trying it before! Her verdict? “It wasn’t bad… but it’s not for me!”
🐶🧁 Boston was one of the stars at our most recent Dog Café, patiently waiting for his pupcake — and yes, he was as good as he looks. LuLu the PAT dog had everyone smiling on her visit too.
🍧🥄 Gladys and Sammi teamed up to make the viral TikTok Japanese cheesecake, and it was absolutely delicious.
🌸🍒 We were also honoured to welcome members of our local Muslim community, who visited with three incredibly generous gift baskets, filled with fruit and biscuits, along with beautiful bright pink roses for the ladies. The residents loved meeting them, and we hope to see them again very soon!
💃🏴 Saturday brought us a wonderful entertainer, while Sunday afternoon was spent cosy indoors playing board games away from the rain. As it was also Burns Night, we got creative and made a special piece of art for our Scottish resident, Annie.
🎶 We’ve also enjoyed a recent trip to Milestones Museum for a lively session of Let’s Sing, bringing members of the community together through music.
🌧 Ruth took a wander around the garden before it rained AGAIN.
