Investing in yourself, especially your mental health can sometimes feel like an expensive luxury that you can’t justify. But consider all the things you do to try and boost your happiness short term.

That takeaway when you’re too overwhelmed to cook. The shopping trip to distract you from things at home. That messy night out with friends that you struggle to actually be present for. Those coffees and sweet treats to try and find energy because you can’t sleep.

Maybe investing in your happiness and wellbeing doesn’t seem so selfish now?

How many sessions you need will depend on your goals and how quickly you take to hypnotherapy. I normally recommend 6-8 sessions, once a week. So often we get stuck in a cycle of issues that can affect many areas of our mental health and it can be hard to know which one to work on first.

For example if you’re feeling anxious, that might effect your sleep, if your tired that it could mean you start eating sugary fatty foods for quick energy, which then leads to weight gain, and that can lead to us feeling self conscious and then more anxious.

This is why I tailor each and every one of my treatment plans for my clients. We look at what’s causing you the most distress, and what your goal is.
