Children’s Mental Health, Emotional support Coach and here for parental / Family guidance and support 1-2-1 or family group. ( one parent must be with child for the 1-2-1 classes)

Thoughts on Connection 🩷🧠🩷?!
♥️ Having no connection from a younger Child's perspective can lead to feelings of heightened fear and not felt safety - this can be overwhelming and traumatic for both of you.
We can’t access our logical thinking brain when we don’t feel safe.
Fear if not fitting in -fear of failing.
Low Self -Esteem.
Children can't regulate theirselves. They need us to offer lots of guidance tolerance modelling and that safety zone of expressing how they feel without any Shame.
Getting your child to feel at ease with some of our trickier feelings is a great starting point. knowing it's ok to have all of them. knowing that the feeling will soon pass and if they can ride that emotional wave with the help of a trusted Adult, then little wins begin to be seen. If they can be brave while it happens it could be their super power.
Being seen and heard initially is key to them becoming calm from the inside out.
followed by maybe a gentle approach of….

❤️would it help if I hold you?
❤️I’m here whenever you’re ready to talk to me,
❤️I can just listen.
🩷Is it hard for you to tell me ? Can I try to help you ?
Give them the space to talk when THEY are ready.
Show no judgment or opinion just listen and offer support as there will be time later to go through together and problem solve things. Once the peak has passed.
Validate what you see back to your child. Naming the big feelings they’re experiencing, this can help to take away the power, by diluting it, especially, unwanted or unhelpful repetitive feelings, name them to your child and use lots of emotional language.”I can see how ….you were/are getting”
“I'm sorry you're feeling ……. this way just now what can I do to make you feel better ?”
It's scary, I can see that you are afraid
Has this made you feel …..too?
Do you feel listened to?
It's ok, I can see you’re Disappointed
I can see you're frustrated right now
I can see how jealous that has made you feel.
I understand your feeling.…… let's wait for it to pass. We can sit together until it goes.

They are for parent and child for an hour. I'm taking bookings now for July and August .
