Give To Gain

This year's International Women's Day theme, “Give To Gain”, underscores the principle that meaningful progress on gender equality requires deliberate contributions from governments, institutions and individuals. When we invest in women's safety, rights and leadership, we strengthen societies as a whole.

Friendship issues or bullying

It’s time to recognise that when you child feels excluded it’s bullying.

Thank you for sharing this living Full.

I’m teaching my kids exclusion is an under-the-radar form of bullying.

We’ve all experienced it—
that sting of being left out,
of two friends whispering a secret in front of you
and refusing to tell you what it’s about.

It happens in our schools,
on sports teams,
in after-school activities and clubs.
And while it may seem subtle,
it can be deeply damaging.

When a group consistently leaves someone out—
when they make sure that person knows they’re not invited,
not wanted,
not part of the circle—
that’s not harmless.
That’s bullying.

This kind of behavior chips away at self-esteem.
It teaches kids they’re never enough.
And the silence around it allows it to keep spreading.

Not liking someone is human.
But you can still be kind.
You can still be civil.
You can still make space for empathy.

Because bullying isn’t just about pushing someone on the playground.

Exclusion is a silent pandemic.
And it’s time we start calling it what it is.

Affirmations 🤔😩⬇️switch it up⬆️🧠

25/02/2026

“I Am not good enough at or for….”

Affirmations help switch up ⬆️the unwanted, unhelpful, repetitive and negative thoughts and self chatter. Creating an opportunity to promote a positive thought. 🤔
In time and with regular daily practise, affirmations really help your self chatter, your inner fear to quieten down. Fear is our default button and this can keep us from being positive and seeking our own abilities and qualities. It can lead us to think the worse case scenario all the time.
Affirmations help when a task or event is on the horizon. For children it can be School related, a new class, trying something new, friendship group issues, worrying, anxiety, health, grief, self doubt, family and family cultures.
Try to look in your mirror and say to yourself the affirmation you need to boost. ( don’t need a mirror but with little ones it can help to give them direction with this new skill)
We give compliments away all the time to others…. Start with yourself and be kind to yourself. This will kickstart a new habit.
Affirmations can be said at any time and for as many times as you need. Switch it up ⬆️
for your own Self -Esteem.

“I’m going to try “
“I can do hard things”
“I am ok”
“I am calm”
“I am quiet “
“I can trust this “
Aswell as bespoke personal affirmations.
“I am loved
“I am beautiful”
“I am happy “
“I am funny “
“I am creative “
“I am joyful “
“I’ am funny”
“I’m unique”

Try making some affirmations posters with your child to help boost their Self-Esteem. Place them everywhere help them, perhaps let them see and hear you saying your affirmations as a family, when your thinking takes a dive down ⬇️to negative thoughts again.
Switch it up ⬆️
Use Affirmations.

Relax with Jo - Relax Kids

Being a Relax Kids coach enables me to promote relaxation for your child. Our children have so many worries from their own emotions and our very busy lifestyles. Using Relaxkids 7 steps I'm aiming to lead them onto good self-care with increased self-confidence which builds to stronger resilience. Healthy positive thoughts and a healthy lifestyle can help them to have a calmer mind. Children need a clearer understanding of their emotions and how they play a huge part in our everyday lives. Changing negative thoughts is on every class and course that I run. One of my chill skills courses will help them to have more knowledge as to why we respond and react the way we do. Our feelings and our unhelpful thoughts can be so damaging and they get in the way of us having a go or being the best we can be. with simple steps to follow the children can easily switch things around as they become more confident.

June 2020 revised update for my Coaching.

WHAT WILL A RELAX KIDS CLASS OFFER MY CHILD?

I will give children a great opportunity to thrive and be the best they can be through joining the courses. Relaxation is key to a good self-care routine, introducing and promoting mental health for our children. Relax kids offers audio visualisations and various books/journals for them to take ownership of. Relaxing THEIR way, when THEY need to, with regular use of the techniques. Emotional intelligence is one of the key factors in their resilience. Mental Health is part of us all so we should not ignore the fact that we all need some guidance in areas that we can support. Self-belief can really help your child to have good strong positive thoughts leading to better positive confidence in who they are and not what they think they should be. The classes I would say that after three half terms and your child is on the right road to good all-round self-care self-belief and inner calm. The courses are designed as a one-off course maybe per ever other school year or dependent on how much your child needs some support. They can return to any class at anytime my community classes are there for all the children every 5 weeks of the School term. All clades and courses are discounted for recommendations and siblings attending and if you booked 2 blocks of 5 weeks community classes or chill skills classes, * This doesn't apply to Chill Skills 1-2-1 private bespoke coaching courses.
