Wow what a photo !
It’s a great reflection agreed ? Thank you Katie 🇦🇺

Do you reflect enough on your own behaviour when you’re in the heat of the moment with your partner or when your child needs connection? It’s tricky to see ourselves just then. later we can always find time to reflect and improve on our own responses and reactions.
Now is not the time for correction.

Reflective thinking is so important to our own understanding of who we are and how we get an opportunity to reflect and make some small changes
why did I responded like that ?
Could I have just said nothing ?
Did I even need to speak then ?
Was it my concern or argument ?
Whose drama did I get caught up in?
Why did I say that ?
I wish I could change what happened?
Was I the instigator?
Why didn’t I just take a breather before I answered in that way.
Do I need to be right all the time ?
I can accept that I may not understand this just now.

To Rearrange our values as we evolve is progress. What are your values ?
Do you carry out your values all the time ? No it’s impossible ! So we just check in now and again to see if our moral compass is on track and are we being true to ourselves. Buzz word Authentic but I know when I’m not being it.

Reflections Create some space for growth no matter what age we are.

Every behaviour tells a story.
Sometimes it’s a whisper for connection.
Sometimes it’s a shout for safety.
Always, it’s communication.

When we shift from “How do I stop this behaviour?” to “What is my child trying to tell me?” — that’s when real connection begins. 💛

✨ Back-to-school season is here and with it come the jitters for both kids and parents. New routines, worries about friends, and the “what ifs” of tomorrow can feel big.
💛 One of the best ways we can support our kids is by filling up their cup…with encouragement, connection, and love. A few simple daily rituals can ease those back-to-school worries and remind kids that no matter what the day brings, we’ll always be here to refill their cup again and again.

Relax with Jo - Relax Kids

Being a Relax Kids coach enables me to promote relaxation for your child. Our children have so many worries from their own emotions and our very busy lifestyles. Using Relaxkids 7 steps I'm aiming to lead them onto good self-care with increased self-confidence which builds to stronger resilience. Healthy positive thoughts and a healthy lifestyle can help them to have a calmer mind. Children need a clearer understanding of their emotions and how they play a huge part in our everyday lives. Changing negative thoughts is on every class and course that I run. One of my chill skills courses will help them to have more knowledge as to why we respond and react the way we do. Our feelings and our unhelpful thoughts can be so damaging and they get in the way of us having a go or being the best we can be. with simple steps to follow the children can easily switch things around as they become more confident.

WHAT WILL A RELAX KIDS CLASS OFFER MY CHILD?

I will give children a great opportunity to thrive and be the best they can be through joining the courses. Relaxation is key to a good self-care routine, introducing and promoting mental health for our children. Relax kids offers audio visualisations and various books/journals for them to take ownership of. Relaxing THEIR way, when THEY need to, with regular use of the techniques. Emotional intelligence is one of the key factors in their resilience. Mental Health is part of us all so we should not ignore the fact that we all need some guidance in areas that we can support. Self-belief can really help your child to have good strong positive thoughts leading to better positive confidence in who they are and not what they think they should be. The classes I would say that after three half terms and your child is on the right road to good all-round self-care self-belief and inner calm. The courses are designed as a one-off course maybe per ever other school year or dependent on how much your child needs some support. They can return to any class at anytime my community classes are there for all the children every 5 weeks of the School term. All clades and courses are discounted for recommendations and siblings attending and if you booked 2 blocks of 5 weeks community classes or chill skills classes, * This doesn't apply to Chill Skills 1-2-1 private bespoke coaching courses.
