Being a Relax Kids coach enables me to promote relaxation for your child. Our children have so many worries from their own emotions and our very busy lifestyles. Using Relaxkids 7 steps I'm aiming to lead them onto good self-care with increased self-confidence which builds to stronger resilience. Healthy positive thoughts and a healthy lifestyle can help them to have a calmer mind. Children need a clearer understanding of their emotions and how they play a huge part in our everyday lives. Changing negative thoughts is on every class and course that I run. One of my chill skills courses will help them to have more knowledge as to why we respond and react the way we do. Our feelings and our unhelpful thoughts can be so damaging and they get in the way of us having a go or being the best we can be. with simple steps to follow the children can easily switch things around as they become more confident.

I will give children a great opportunity to thrive and be the best they can be through joining the courses. Relaxation is key to a good self-care routine, introducing and promoting mental health for our children. Relax kids offers audio visualisations and various books/journals for them to take ownership of. Relaxing THEIR way, when THEY need to, with regular use of the techniques. Emotional intelligence is one of the key factors in their resilience. Mental Health is part of us all so we should not ignore the fact that we all need some guidance in areas that we can support. Self-belief can really help your child to have good strong positive thoughts leading to better positive confidence in who they are and not what they think they should be. The classes I would say that after three half terms and your child is on the right road to good all-round self-care self-belief and inner calm. The courses are designed as a one-off course maybe per ever other school year or dependent on how much your child needs some support. They can return to any class at anytime my community classes are there for all the children every 5 weeks of the School term. All clades and courses are discounted for recommendations and siblings attending and if you booked 2 blocks of 5 weeks community classes or chill skills classes, * This doesn't apply to Chill Skills 1-2-1 private bespoke coaching courses.
Introducing The 7 Steps...
The 7 steps will be taking them from high-energy fun and games, through moving and play, stretching, massage, breathing, believing then the lovely relaxing visualisation. Every session offered will be appropriate for their ages. Offering some simple skills needed to improve their relaxation. Age-related topic/themed sessions, mixed-aged community course 7-11 then split into lower Junior Upper Junior. The 7 steps are incorporated into all classes.

*Infant ages 5-7. Primary aged children I will split the ages into 2 tiers: lower Juniors 7-9 then upper Juniors 9-11 years. so I can accommodate as many ages as possible. These fun Relaxation community classes will be for 1 hour on 5 consecutive weeks. max 8 children. Thursdays 3.45 4.45 at East Oakley Village Hall, The Green Hut. Inclusive are the 7 steps of every class and we try to have fun as we learn all about brain and body and our thoughts patterns. we start off we a fun movement then swiftly onto an icebreaker game. promoting self-confidence peer socialisation and feeling joy in part of a team. we stretch to enable us to start to slow down and relax our very busy muscles leading onto a self-massage or a train story massage with permission of course. Then we begin to really slow down with exploring how we can breathe in a deeper slower way calming down our whole body. leading onto believe, all about you and what makes “you” unique. finally, a lovely visualisation only using your imagination which helps to create your Childs development in creative tasks spoken language and the joy of just listening and having your brain do all the work. All of our steps promote healthy attitudes in looking after our mental health and wellbeing. focus the mind strengthen the whole body implement positive thoughts aiding children to sleep better and cope better in situations that they may have found tricky before. please get in touch for booking your Childs place. This is a come as many times as you wish classes but I would say that 3 or maybe 4 5 week blocks of relax kids classes were sufficient. per school year.
Term time only dates and times are variable. All classes are themed: example Happiness for Infant aged children and 'Brilliant me' for Junior aged children within the brilliant me classes there are many more themed classes to attend I have a library packed full of adventures also packed themed classes to chose from. I will try to adapt all my classes to the cohort and age of children in each class making each session age-appropriate.
* Infant ages: 5-7 / Primary ages: 7-11 2 tier lower aged classes 7-9 and upper aged classes 9-11 years.
Chill skills community Classes: TBC- St Leonards centre on Mondays after school. Upper Primary age course. 5-week course plus a free induction and informative exchange of information making this 6 weeks - 90-minute course in total. This course covers 5 main areas and on interest. A quick overview for this course: We will look at areas of positive thinking the importance of visualisations, how we deal with stress its causes the symptoms, how we might feel and what are the triggers. mood swings and chemistry in the body. healthy living and eating and thinking. self-belief and inner self-empowerment.With all of the 7 steps included in every 90 sessions with small groups, I get time to discuss and practise areas that are needed. The course itself has a set programme that we follow but I will include as much of your child interests as possible to make the sessions about them. anxiety and stress come in all shapes and sizes as we know but sometimes they need a simple go-to tool kit to help them to self-care as they get older. this is ongoing every 5 weeks of school term time. its a revisit course at any time. Offering extra courses chill skills one-offs for workshops/exam preparation or any event that you’ll know your child is struggling to remain calm about presenting or attending an occasion.
1-2-1 Coaching your child in their home/ hired room -90 mins- 2 hours for 6 consecutive weeks. I'm offering bespoke individual guidance, this can be for any aged child up to 13 years. I have three levels within this course to suit the Childs age. I’m more than happy to have a Relax kids 1-2-1 6 week course or chill skills 6-week course. As I have explained previously each child would receive an individual programme to help in the areas of need but still following the 7 steps and with tasks that relate to your Childs anxiety or stress or generally wanting to be able to cope better in peer situations. It can be so hard for them to know how to respond at the moment so by understanding what is happening inside their minds and their bodies, it will help them to make the informed choices of how to react. learn some simple but effective relaxation tips that they can use as they go through their school days/events/ presentations or peer issues. these can be after school or on the weekend. for 6 weeks -90-2 hour - inclusive of induction and formal chat plus free downloads and resources. please get in touch for more details. This course has several levels so therefore I can adapt it each year as your child grows should your child like to have this yearly. This is a come back to course should you want to.
Chill and Chat sessions: Informal meet up for a parent and a child starting school/or relaxation needed. Listen to a few easy relaxation techniques together and finish with a refreshment and a Q& A.

Transition workshops: 3 School entry-level relax kids sessions all afternoon. Green Hut, Hill road, Oakley.
Starting school workshop (A) -Thursday 30th July 1.30 -2.30- followed by 3 more sessions TBC. The green hut, Oakley. £10 for child +1 £40 full course. 6 spaces 6 children 6 adults max. I can set up another workshop starting school should this one be oversubscribed. A very Informal meeting no expectations on our taster but I will invite you and your child to join in as we go through some steps together: stretch massage and breathing techniques with a lovely visualisation to finish. The next 3 sessions will be themed: Brave, New friends and Kindness. Each week for one hour we will read a story chat about how it made us feel have our 30 mins 7 steps little stars session.
Infants to Junior school workshop Thursday 30th July 3-4pm- +3 more sessions. TBC- child only £8 per session £32 full course. 8 spaces.
We will introduce ourselves to play a few ice breaker games chat about how we are feeling and share some lovely relaxation together. following our 7 steps and enjoying some time together. The next three fun-filled sessions are themed and planned from the children interests and needs. A celebration of you.
Juniors to Secondary school workshop Thursday 30th July 4.45-5.45pm +3 more sessions. TBC- child only £8 per session £32 full course. 8 spaces we will Introduce ourselves go through the chills kills a type of workshop I'm offering and then we can go through some of the steps that we will use and chatting about the sorts of thing we need to work on over the holidays. Our next three sessions we look at how we react why we react the way we do. how to try to stay calm get a better perspective of self-care and good mental health equalling good whole health. be yourself and remain true to what makes you happy not doing what others want you to do. fitting in and how disruptive it can be to have to feel like fitting in.
Summer Haven: Tuesday 28th 9-1. (session 1) ages 5-11 8 spaces
Summer Haven Friday 31st July 12.30-4.30. ( session 2) ages 5-11. 8 spaces
Relax Kids 7 steps, Themed fun activities / mindful calming keepsake activity/ Relaxation Haven. The 4-hour session includes a fruit snack and a drink. Carnival themed. colourful and fun with some relaxation tips and guidance with some lovely breathing and affirmation teaching. Peaceful relaxation to finish with. £ 28 per child per session.
COVID 19- I am currently offering online classes for children after school who attend and for those who are at home without Schooling Mondays are my at home during the day zoom classes. please get in touch for more details.I can adapt many classes to suit your Childs needs and they can be fully adapted for one child to attend with siblings if age-appropriate for a reduced price. many of my courses have been half price during the lockdown and some are still available.
