The story of how I became a Hypnobirthing teacher
I first became interested in hypnotherapy, its uses and effectiveness after completing my undergraduate degree in Psychology. Following my degree in 2012, I enrolled on a Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma via Adam Eason College of Therapeutic Hypnosis, I then continued to complete a hypnobirthing course for hypnotherapists with Fertility2Birth. I worked for a few years as a Hypnotherapist and Hypnobirth Practitioner however life got in the way of my dream for a period of time.
After having my daughter in 2019, I decided it was the right time to restart my hypnobirthing passion and I completed a diploma with KG Hypnobirthing. I am passionate about enabling every woman and birth partner to have a positive birth and the best birth for them. We take time to practice and prepare for most things in our life, however the birth of our baby is often not looked at as something that can be practised and or prepared for. Hypnobirthing is a logical approach to antenatal education and combines all aspects of birth and what can affect it to empower women and partners to feel informed, confident to make the right choices for them and to enjoy the birth of their baby.
