Shopmobility Basingstoke are attending the Alresford Show tomorrow, and as the majority of our mobility scooters will be going along to the show, there will be a limited number available to hire from our Centre. Should you wish to hire one it would be best to call ahead to check if any are free to use as they get booked up very quickly. Alternatively we do have a number of powerchairs and manual wheelchairs that will be available throughout the day.

One of our very lovely Customers attended Carfest and had the privilege of meeting some famous faces on the day. She certainly got into the spirit of things by beautifully decorating the wheelchair she hired from us, just for this special and unforgettable occasion.

We have jigsaws a plenty here in our Church Street Centre, so if you're looking for a bargain, why not pop in and stock up on your favourites.

Shopmobility Basingstoke will be at the ever-popular Basingstoke Festival of Transport on Sunday 11th May 2025 from 8am, so why not come along and perhaps hire one of our scooters. To guarantee availability, you can also call us on 01256 476 066 and reserve a scooter ahead of the day.

To find us, we will be signposted as to our location when entering Crossborough Hill. The cost will be £15.00 for the day, and there will be limited availability.

If you or anyone you know has lost a Mobility Scooter, it may be that we have it in our possession, as one was left abandoned outside of our Shopmobility Centre in Church Street just before Christmas. If you are able to provide us with the details of the type of scooter and its accompanying features we will be able to return it to you, however, if we have not been able to identify the owner within 30 days of this message we will have no other option but to dispose of it.

We are thrilled to announce that this year's Christmas Wrapping Fundraiser has generated a whopping £1017.22, and every penny of this will go towards the ongoing service that Shopmobility Basingstoke provides. We would like to thank everyone who contributed, and to all those who gave up their valuable time to come along and help with the wrapping, and of course to our steadfast organiser Jo who put so much effort into making this a success. We also want to thank The Malls Shopping Centre for providing us with a Charity Hut, for which we are very grateful as it kept our little elves nice and snug for the duration.
