Marie’s post-partum recovery and fitness class has been a truly wonderful experience. She is kind, gentle, and incredibly knowledgeable about the wild changes our bodies go through during pregnancy and beyond. The techniques she taught me are ones I’ll be able to use to strengthen my pelvic floor and body for life, not just in the post-partum period.

Starting a fitness class just a month after giving birth can feel daunting, but Marie’s methodical and gentle approach made it feel safe and manageable. She helps you ease back into movement and encourages you to give your body the care it deserves.

Twelve weeks later, I was able to complete a post-partum safe circuit, my abdominal separation had mostly healed, and, most importantly, I feel more confident approaching exercise than I ever have. That confidence has meant far more to me than anything on a scale.

Being able to bring your baby along is also a huge bonus. There’s never any pressure if your little one needs attention during the class as they always come first.

I thoroughly look forward to continuing to attend Marie's classes!

The FitMama Method is designed to help ladies through all physical phases of womanhood, from pre-concention to pregnancy and well beyond. Covering all aspects of wellbeing in preparation for motherhood, exercise and weight management. Whether you want private sessions or to join classes with other women, we have a solution for you, to suit your lifestyle and help you achieve your goals. We are the first studio in the UK to offer the revolutionary abdominal sculpting technique called The Hypopresive Method. We use this to aid repair following childbirth, abdominal surgery, prolapse and incontinence. We are also the longest established pregnancy fitness and birthing specialists in the area. Our pregnancy classes are based on The FitMama Method which is published by Souvenir Press and written by Co-Director of this studio, Marie Behenna. Alongside of our specialities, we teach a variety of other cutting edge functional exercise (using Kettlebells, Bulgarian Bags, Powerbags, Battle ropes, TRX bands, ViPR tubes and much more) to enable you to achieve your weight loss and fitness goals in a safe, challenging and effective style after you have completed your initial FitMama journey.
