In our FitMama™️ Pregnancy class this week, I taped up this lovely mummy who has been suffering with abdominal pain from Diastasis Recti. As baby grows and the muscles take strain, sometimes tearing can occur, creating discomfort or pain and anxiety. Kinesiology tape is a really helpful tool to create support for the weakened abdominal wall and can give temporary relief by creating a false wall of support that you can shower or bath in for up to three days a time. Always remove carefully with oil while submerged in water to protect your skin and are sure you are not allergic to the tape before use.
