We had a fantastic day at the University of Wi******er meeting the new intake of student nurses! 💙

It was a great opportunity to represent not only Beech Tree but also care homes across the independent sector. Nicky and Sarah also joined the welcome lecture, where they spoke about the many benefits of completing a placement in a care home setting.

We’re excited to see the next generation of nurses starting their journey and look forward to welcoming some of them into our homes soon! 🌿👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️

National Sports Day – 29th August

We had a fantastic time celebrating National Sports Day with James Joyce from Adaptive Fitness! 🎉

Our very own sports day was filled with a variety of fun and active sports stations, giving everyone the chance to get involved and try something new. The afternoon was full of energy, laughter and lots of movement.

As always, James put us through our paces – working everyone hard but making sure we all felt amazing while having a great time together. 💪😁

It was truly an active, fun, and uplifting afternoon for all!

🌞 What a wonderful afternoon we had bringing the beach to Beech Tree! 🍦🎉
Everyone enjoyed an ice cream, played games together and the seashells brought back fond memories of holidays and days by the sea. 🐚💛 It was such a joy to share laughter, stories and sunshine with one another, a truly special afternoon for all.

We are thrilled to announce that two of our incredible team members have been named finalists in this year’s Hampshire Care Association Awards!

✨ Kirsty has been shortlisted for the Support Super Hero category, in recognition of her outstanding expertise, dedication, and commitment to Beech Tree.

✨ Sylvi is a finalist in the Tech for Care category, celebrating her implementation of PainChek AI technology to anticipate and identify pain, helping improve comfort and quality of life for those we support.

These nominations are a true reflection of their passion, skill, and the positive impact they bring to our community every single day. 🌟

We couldn’t be prouder of them and can’t wait to celebrate their achievements at the Awards Night on 18th September.
