☀️ Summer is here! Keep your smile healthy & bright! ☀️
With the summer holidays coming, it’s easy for us to let our routines slip, but don’t forget about your oral health. Here are some of our top tips to keep your teeth and gums happy all summer:
💧 Stay Hydrated with Water: Swap sugary drinks for water! It's fantastic for your overall health and helps rinse away food particles and acid, protecting your teeth.
🍎 Snack Smart: Picnics and BBQs are great, but watch out for sticky sweets, crisps, and acidic fruits. If you indulge, try to brush afterwards or at least rinse with water.
☀️ Protect Your Lips: Don't forget SPF for your lips! Sunburn on your lips can be painful and increases risk. Choose a lip balm with SPF.
🔁 Keep Up Your Routine: Even on holiday, remember to brush at least twice a day for two minutes and floss daily. Pack a travel-sized kit!
🍦 Be Mindful of Cold Treats: Ice creams and cold drinks are summer staples, but if you experience sensitivity, it might be a sign to get your teeth checked.
