I’m a great believer that you can set the intention, aims and vibes that go on in business. You can do this through planning, training or even little comments and affirmations that permeate through.

It’s one reason of many at my clinic, i’ve been keen to have inspirational “mirror quotes” in our bathroom over the last few months. They are there for the team and our patients to see. They set our tone, play as tiny part in building motivation but also communicate, inspire and further our clinic intention statement to all who read them.

This is the new quote I put up on the mirror today.

It’s not big, nor fancy- but it certainly does it’s job. We are all in this together and life is too short to not be focussed on and getting the most out of it.

Have you been following Muscle of the Week at the clinic?

This week, massage therapist Leigh, has opted for the Quadratus Lumborum or QL… a muscle we often find needs work with people coming into the clinic.

Anyone doing James’s “Zombie Pose” right now, will know all about this pesky muscle, leaving us tight in the low back when it contracts and maybe even a bit “banana shaped”: The “hip hicker” as Leigh calls it.

Did you know that alongside our leading Chiropractic care, we offer therapeutic or relaxing massages?

In just the same way as you don’t need to have GP approval to come to see one of our Chiropractors, you don’t need to be part of one of our Chiropractic care plans to have massage too. That said, massage and Chiropractic work really well together to help you to make the most out of your life and rehabilitate away from aches, pains, restrictions or whatever holds you back.

2 years ago this week…

It’s crazy to think we’ve only been in our 55 Kingsclere Road location for only 2 years but our 2nd anniversary passed a few days back and we felt it was only right we shared a few piccies we took before our big opening ceremony.

What are your best memories of Connective Chiropractic over the last 2 years?
