Today is World Mental Health Day. It’s a reminder of the importance of good mental health and the need to prioritise and invest in good mental health.

This year’s theme is ‘access to services - mental health in catastrophes and emergencies’. The theme highlights the importance of people being able to protect their mental health in times of global instability.

The residents were so pleased to be visited by Romeo the Donkey. He was very popular, greeted with lots of attention and strokes and he also visited some of our residents in their bedrooms. Such a lovely experience.

Tomorrow is the “World’s Biggest Coffee Morning” is an annual fundraising event held by Macmillan Cancer Support to support people affected by cancer. The event encourages individuals to host or attend coffee mornings, with donations going to Macmillan.
