I came for weight loss, after years of being a yo-yo dieter.
I’d lose weight, put it back on… lose it again, then gain it again.
I was miserable.
What I didn’t realise at the time was just how rubbish I felt — because I genuinely thought that feeling exhausted, bloated and low was normal.
At 38 years old, everything changed when I learned how to fuel my body properly.
My energy improved.
My skin improved.
My IBS and mood became manageable.
I felt fitter, stronger…
and the weight came off healthily.
What I finally understood was why I kept hitting plateaus before — I was losing muscle, not just fat. That meant fewer calories burned, less energy, and the same cycle repeating.
This time was different.
I lost two dress sizes, 1.5 stone, and most importantly — I’ve maintained it for 4 years.
Now, as I navigate perimenopause, I’m managing symptoms that once felt debilitating by simply tweaking my nutrition to suit my changing body.
Because knowledge is power.
