Good luck to Sharon, Manager at Portchester Lodge as she retires after two decades of dedication! 🥳

Sharon began her journey with Choice in July 2004, working in several homes before joining the Portchester Lodge family in March 2017. Throughout her career, she has been a true asset to the company, inspiring colleagues and serving as an incredible mentor to many.

We had a fantastic day at the Sheiling School transition event! A really great day meeting people and talking about all the great things that go on at our Choice Care homes. We had a lots of lovely visitors to our stand and some great conversations.

Today is first day of the next round of Management Development Programmes! With an Advanced Management Development Programme and the Foundation Management Development Programme, these programmes are designed to enhance our colleagues' leadership skills. Sessions will cover key topics like Positive Behaviour Support, leadership, recruitment and safeguarding. Here's the team ready to go this morning!

J was over the moon when she saw her family on the camera for her weekly call! She was even more excited to see her sister and two nieces!

J struggles to hear on the phone, which has made her phone calls home difficult. Mum and team Hazeldene decided to surprise J with a video call to see if it would help… and it was a success! She loved it and was cracking all of her best jokes! 😂

It's World Menopause day and we're looking forward to our ChoiceChat this morning with menopause expert Ruth Devlin - opening up a conversation with colleagues about the menopause.

The day aims to raise awareness of the menopause and the support options available for improving health and well being. Did you know that at Choice Care, colleagues who are experiencing the menopause and associated symptoms can reclaim the cost of their HRT prescriptions?
