St Michael's Hospice (North Hampshire) Providing compassionate care to people with life-limiting illnesses in North Hants
Charity No 1002856 St.

Michael's Hospice provides specialist palliative care in North Hampshire for patients with a life-limiting illness and support to their families and carers. Michael's takes a holistic approach to care as it is important to not only look after a patients physical symptoms but also their emotional and spiritual needs as well. To achieve this holistic approach Hospice staff work as a multi-professional team, which includes nursing and medical staff, a therapeutic team, family and bereavement support. We have well established links and partnerships with healthcare professionals in the Hospital and community, which means we can respond quickly to patients' needs. The Hospice is a friendly homelike environment and we provide a range of services that include: -

- In-Patient care for symptom control (the main reason for referral), rehabilitation, respite and terminal care.
- Additionally we provide a growing range of Out-Patient services, which include:
- Therapeutic Clinic
- Complementary Therapy
- Medical Consultation
- In the community St. Michael's Hospice at Home Service provides practical and specialist nursing care in people's homes.

Our annual Light up a Life appeal is a beautiful opportunity to remember and celebrate the life of someone special to you. By dedicating a light on our Hospice tree or out in the community, you're creating a heartfelt tribute that shines brightly for all to see.

You’ll also have the option to receive our 2025 Light up a Life limited edition keepsake. This year, we have chosen a robin design as they are often seen as a comforting presence, offering a sense of closeness to those who are no longer with us.

Your dedication is also a vital gift to your local hospice, helping us to provide compassionate, expert care to local families when they need it most.

Dedicate a light today and help your friend or loved one's memory shine: www.stmichaelshospice.org.uk/dedicate-a-light-to-someone-special/

The compassionate, expert care we provide at St. Michael's Hospice is a lifeline for so many, but it comes at a significant cost.

It takes £3,863 to run our Inpatient Unit (IPU) for a single day. That daily cost funds specialist nursing, medical attention, and emotional support for patients and their loved ones in the most vulnerable time of their lives.

Your generosity directly helps us meet this enormous challenge. By donating, you ensure that high-quality, free care is always available in our community, now and in the future.

Ensure our expert care continues for everyone who needs it. Click the link to donate: https://www.stmichaelshospice.org.uk/get-involved/giving/donate-now/

Thank you for your support. ❤️
