Jon was a staunch Basingstoke RFC supporter who passed away last year and while he is no longer with us, he'd be delighted to know the club is thriving 💙💛

Jon's nephew, Ollie, is part of our Men's section and is the player the funeral directors have decided to sponsor. He had a couple of years out of the game before returning last October, making his 1st XV debut in May against Swanage and Wareham. He wears his heart on his sleeve and has come on leaps and bounds this pre-season - here's to a big season! 👏

It’s hard to believe it’s been a year since we lost Jonathan.

For those of us who had the privilege to know him, Jonathan was so much more than the founder of this business — he was a mentor, a friend, and the kind of person who made you feel seen, heard, and valued. He poured his heart into this place and into every single person who walked through the door.

We still feel his presence every day. In the way we do things. In the stories we tell. In the standards he set and the kindness he showed.

Today, we remember him with heavy hearts, but also with deep gratitude. We’re proud to carry on what he started, and we miss him more than words can say.🤍
