It's been a while since I posted on here. Sorry about that! I am SO busy, that it's just not felt necessary to appear in newsfeeds 🤦🏽‍♀️

So, yes, I am still here, and still very much dealing with feet on the daily! I am currently FULLY BOOKED for mobile appointments, and this has been the case now for some months. I am very grateful for that, especially as the very vast majority of my patients came to me based on recommendations. That's worth so so much to me and is so appreciated!

The cabin is going well and slots are booking up there, too! This is currently the only way to get on my books and get an appointment. I have a waiting list for mobile appointments, and am always happy to put people on it, although it is slow moving.

Please contact me during my working hours which are Monday-Thursday 9.15am-5.30pm, and Friday 9.15am-2.30pm. I've set myself strict boundaries with work calls and enquiries. My husband and I are both self employed, and we would spend all our family time working if we didn't crack down on ourselves! Also, I've had some texts and calls 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ at 2am and 5am! Not a fun way to wake up 🤣

Not only are there eleventy billion days of January, but it's also tax return time! But it's done, and I even managed to do it without wine!

Going back through my diaries, it's so lovely to see the same names popping up. I truly enjoy catching up with you all every few weeks. It's also sad to see the names of people who have left this life and moved on. I always say a little 'aww' when I see a name of someone no longer with us.

I'll be treating myself to an accountant for 2024-2025, because popping the Foot Health Cabin through the books is going to toast my brain!

Thank you all for keeping me busy. Each year my diary looks fuller and my books look healthier and I'm forever grateful that I get to wake up every day and do a job that I truly love.

That's a wrap (buh dum tsh!) on 2024! I've just finished my last patient of the year, and am now off home to eat too much and drink too much and spend time with my family. I hope you all have a lovely Christmas and spend it with people who mean something to you.

I don't think I've worked a Christmas Eve ever, but definitely not since being a mum, so thank you to you all for keeping me so busy that I've needed to keep working. It's greatly appreciated!

See you all in 2025, dance loads and I'll fix the feet in the new year!

I am fresh off the boat from a lovely week long cruise to Spain and France. I'm not sure if I'm well rested, we have walked blooming miles every day, but I'm looking forward to getting back to work! I see I have some missed calls, voicemails and texts to respond to, which I will do in the coming days.

Please be aware that all mobile slots are full for the foreseeable. Cabin appointments have good availability. Cabin slot times now start from 3.30pm 😊

P.S. We saw DOLPHINS! I wasn't cool about it! This video was taken on the 3rd night we saw them and, as you can hear, I was amazed! Day 1 I was a crying mess on deck 17 😂

Please note, I do not have access to a toilet for cabin appointments! Our home and my business insurance have been very strict about this. We also have building materials laying around as we are renovating. So please be aware and bring an empty bladder! 😁

Ready for the cabin's first patient earlier! Please message me on 07939534774 to book cabin slots. Cabin slots are available Monday-Thursday at 3pm, 4.15pm and 5.30pm. Each slot is up to an hour long. Appointments are £35 and you can pay by cash or card.

Mobile slots are very scarce now but I do have:

11.45

They are the only mobile slots available until 12th November at 9.15 😀

I am currently unable to accept new patients for mobile appointments. I have reached full capacity, which is great, but also awful turning so many calls away! (Just to be clear: ALL current bookings are completely secure. Stopping new mobile patients allows me to protect the mobile slots for those who book regularly, so that I have the appointments available for those that book every 4, 6, 8 weeks etc.)

The cabin is SO close to being ready, that I have decided to name an opening date!

Please note, all appointments for May have now been filled. The next availability is now 19th of June at 11.45am. I am thrilled to be so busy, and also feel awful to be turning away so many new people looking for comfy feet! I'm trying my hardest to get this cabin opened to extend my diary!

Thank you all so much for helping keep me busy. It's a huge amount of time and money that goes into qualifying, setting up and insuring a new business. But, 5 years later, I'm really proud to be where I'm at. And, the best bit? Around 90% of new patients have come from word of mouth recommendations. That's the best kind of advertisement!

I do have a cancellations list. If you'd like to be added to that list, please let me know which days are best for you so that I can offer any cancellation slots efficiently.

Cancellations still require 48 hours notice please! 😊

WHERE'S THE CABIN?!

My foot cabin is now built, has electrics and the first coat of paint. Still a way to go, but we're now working on paths in the garden, as building the cabin in the terrible weather we've had turned the only bit I liked about our new house (the garden) into a mud pit. A mud pit that also floods!

So please keep with me while we work hard to get everything safe for everyone. I think we have a while to go yet as we only really have weekends.

In the meantime, I'm still working mobile during schools hours (and this will continue to be the case, even when the cabin is built. I will switch over to working in my cabin in the afternoons to allow me to offer later appointments).

I am super busy, which is fantastic! All appointments for April are now filled, and I am already booking into July, so please book in advance to avoid disappointment, especially if you prefer a particular day or time. I have availability in May, so please get in touch!

So, yep, that's my update! We're working away here behind the scenes, but we're uncovering a lot that we weren't expecting to in our new house, so time and budget has been diverted, as well as my husband being in and out of hospital as many of you know. Hopefully we're starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel 🤞

I have a couple of cancellation slots this week as covid is doing the rounds again!

Illness can't be helped, and I can't work if I catch Covid, so please let me know ASAP if you test positive for Covid or have Covid symptoms so that we can rearrange. My husband was made redundant just before Christmas so we are relying on me working at the moment!

I have had to cancel today's appointments as I am poorly 😢 I have contacted everyone, but can see that one person hasn't seen their message (from my private Facebook account as I don't have your number in my paperwork and all previous messages from you have disappeared). I am so so sorry if you're waiting for me. I would never cancel unless I absolutely couldn't work, and today is one of those days 😭
