We’re proud to announce a significant new development at Basingstoke Crematorium - transforming over 16 acres of untouched land into a modern, inclusive cemetery space. 🌳

Just 45 minutes from London, the space will offer bespoke burial areas tailored to a wide range of cultural, religious, and personal traditions, including:

- Double-depth graves for family plots
- Dedicated sections for specific communities
- Options for alternative memorials

This rare expansion is designed to serve families locally and across Greater London and the South East, with a focus on flexibility, dignity, and long-term planning.

Basingstoke Crematorium & Cemetery Open Day – Thank You!

We are so grateful to everyone who helped make our Open Day such a meaningful and successful event.

A huge thank you to the families who joined us, the funeral teams, our dedicated contractor, the talented florists, and—above all—my incredible team, whose hard work and compassion ensured the day was carried out with the utmost care and dignity. I couldn’t be prouder of what we achieved together—thank you all!

A special congratulations to Jodie Ireland, the winner of our raffle for a memorial bench with a personalised plaque. We hope this bench provides a peaceful place on our grounds where you can always come to reflect, cherish, and remember your loved one.

Your support means the world to us, and we’re honoured to be part of your journey in celebrating and remembering those who are dearly missed.

Memorial Bench Raffle – Open Day 2025

We are excited to announce that at our Open Day on Sunday 3rd August 2025, we will be holding a special raffle for the chance to win a beautiful memorial bench (choice of Dale or Wirksworth) with a personalised plaque, to be placed here on our grounds.

How to enter:
- Raffle tickets: £5 each (available now at our office).
- Opening hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
- Winner drawn & announced: At the end of our Open Day (03/08/25).

All proceeds will go directly toward preserving and enhancing the wildlife habitats, across our cemetery and crematorium grounds.

Our New Memorial Area - Name Reveal!

Thank you for all the suggestions - our staff have voted and two of the names received the same amount of votes - so we combined the two as it was clear we couldn't choose!

Our New Memorial Area will be called 🌿 Serenity Meadow 🌿.

Congratulations and big thanks to Kayleigh Faulkner and Val Elliott for their suggestions. We think the new name is PERFECT for our grounds.
