This was a lovely scene on a cold snowy day at Basingstoke crematorium today, the Ducks didn’t seem to mind, skating with an occasional dip

Remembering everyone and their families who we have been privileged to care and to look after during their saddest hardest time this year, just because we are entering into another year we are still here for you all, a phone call to say hi or a little chat when it’s needed, no matter the time of the day your call will always be answered immediately

An intimate service was held in our chapel this week for a lovely gentleman surrounded by love of the 20 family and friends who attended with celebrant Carol Bode officiating
After the service everyone enjoyed the light buffet whilst reminiscing and memories

The Gentleman was conveyed to the crematorium in our hearse the next morning for a Direct cremation, a chosen piece of music was played and a photo was on the chapel screen
We always stay and stand in respect until the curtain closes
RIP Edward 💙

We are able to to offer services in our chapel with light refreshments or full buffet
Service with a Celebrant or Minister or just family
The service can be prior to the Direct cremation or after as a memorial

As stated in the ITV news also GMB today people are being scammed for payment of live streaming of funerals via FB this service should only be pre arranged through a funeral director who work with the music and streaming provider through the crematorium of choice, Basingstoke is provided by a company called Obitus, the ITV news are wrong to say it is free to live stream, it does come with a payable fee, all fees are on the crematorium of choice website, no recording is permitted in the chapel by any other means, I do not have a memorial page on my website listing persons in my care, it is my choice not to, I do not wish to display names or funeral details for scammers to prey on people in their most saddest of times 🌺
