As the week is drawing to a close, we’d just like to thank everyone for following along with us on our trip to Norway earlier this week, it was great to share our travels with you! ✈️🇳🇴

It was another productive visit to the Balder factory with lots of technical discussions and marketing plans, as our company and product line-up continue to grow and evolve. We also reflected on the innovations launched last year, such as the success of our upgraded powered seat-slide feature. 🦼🏭

Arriving back in England made us realise how warm it is here in comparison 😆… It reached -16.5 in Hønefoss at one point, which looked beautiful in the snow. ❄️ Hope you all have a great weekend, and are keeping safe with all this rain and flooding around. ☺️💚

Another new Balder arrived with us and had a PDI completed for a customer in Cambridgeshire 🤩. This one is an Advanced model, and we also added our vehicle docking system and a 10-way switch for easily adjusting seating positions even when you’re on the move. 😁🦼

Hello from Norway! 👋🥶🇳🇴

We arrived yesterday and have had a very productive day of meetings with the team here at our manufacturing facility, discussing plans for the year ahead, updates and all things Balder 🦼. It’s always an impressive place to be, seeing the equipment, materials, and teamwork that come together to build the world-class powerchairs that you all know and love.☺️🏭

It’s about -15 celsius here, so naturally Harry decided to take a dip in the hotel’s outdoor pool when we arrived 🏊🏻‍♂️😂!

Norway here we come!! 🇳🇴✈️

We’re jetting off today for our annual trip to catch up with the team at our Baldertech factory in Hønefoss. This is Harry’s first time joining us, and he’s excited to see where Balders are built. We’ve also got Adrian from Dynamic controls coming too. 😀🏭

Meanwhile, back at the office, Andy will be running the show for a few days, completing assessments, servicing, handovers and answering your new enquiries. ☺️🦼

It’s been a busy week for our Service Manager, Harry, with lots of good work completed both in our workshop and out visiting customers. 🔧 Here’s what his week at Baldertech looked like… 📋

🗺️ Monday started with a trip to Bristol to see a customer with two Balders. Both were serviced, and his newer chair was fitted with new tyres and batteries. Then a trip across Bristol to service another F380.

🔧 Tuesday, he headed to North London to complete an annual service on an F380, which included some bodywork repairs and a new seat cushion, which we had available from our UK-based parts supply.

🦼 Wednesday, a trip to Woking for another annual service.

🚗 Thursday began in Daventry to repair a customer’s spare Balder before heading to the West Midlands to recommission a 2007 Balder, and discuss new chair options for them.

♿️ Friday, visiting one of our lovely customers in Worthing to repair their rear light after a small accident and adjusting the bag hook on one of their two Balder F390’s. Before finishing up back at HQ, getting the van washed and restocked with every part needed for the Balder range, ready to go again!
