Join us for our next Neurodiversity Action coffee morning this Friday 5th September, 10:30-12:00 at The Open Practice.

This month we’re delighted to welcome Ben Allez, Assistant Psychologist, who will share insights into how Vagus Nerve Stimulation can support neurodiverse people by easing anxiety, improving emotional regulation, reducing sensory overwhelm and building resilience.

This will be a great chance to connect, learn, and share with others supporting neurodivergent young people.

Yesterday, core members of our team completed First Aid at Work training, delivered by SoPhysical Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic at The Open Practice.

The course covered essential emergency skills from CPR and AED use to managing unconscious casualties, wounds, burns, and medical incidents. Safety is a priority and we wanted to ensure as many of our team as possible are confident and capable in an emergency.

A big thank you to sophysical for a hands-on, engaging session that supports our commitment to looking after our clients and each other.

As we prepare for our group sessions starting this month on Vagal Balance for Menopause, here are a few insights into the vagus nerve🔬

This incredible nerve connects your brain to key organs and plays a major role in regulating mood, digestion, heart rate, and the nervous system. Understanding how to support and stimulate it can bring profound benefits, particularly during menopause - helping ease anxiety, support emotional balance, and restore a sense of calm.

Swipe to learn more about the vagus nerve and why it matters.
