“Had a brilliant day at the CSP Student Conference in Newport, where I had the opportunity to present the research project I completed for my physiotherapy degree. It was great to chat with so many others at a similar stage in their careers, and it really made me reflect on how valuable this research project was, and how much I’m now applying it in my current role.

The talks were fantastic, covering everything from Parkinson’s to the importance of effective exercise prescription. There was lots of up-to-date research and learning to take away, and I’m excited to continue integrating it into my practice.

My biggest takeaway from this day is to LISTEN. Care should always be ‘person’ centred, and this is something I’ll continue to prioritise throughout my career👩‍⚕️”
