Janet & Dee, our amazing Community Champions, attended the February Community Café at Waitrose in Basingstoke this morning and had a lovely time chatting with some wonderful ladies. Huge well done to Elsa for organising this group — top job!

There’s no stopping our Dee — she whipped out the exercise balls again this afternoon! This time it was at BDDF’s Chronic Pain Support Group at Proteus Creation Space. Everyone squeezed, rolled, pushed and stretched to help strengthen the muscles and tendons in their hands and arms.

We had a great morning at Tesco Chineham’s Community Coffee group ☕️ Things kicked off with an unexpected fire alarm, so everyone was briefly evacuated. Once back inside, we teamed up with Jane (Tesco’s amazing Community Champion) and a lovely group of people. Dee led some muscle-strengthening hand exercises, which everyone joined in with. and really enjoyed. They were all surprised at just how much these simple movements work the hand and arm muscles.
Tesco Community Coffee and Cake mornings are held on the last Thursday monthly, from 10.00-12.00
