We love a little treat for the neck.

The platysma is a large “sheet” muscle that covers the whole neck and jawline. Its natural action is to PULL DOWN. Even when it is not contracted to the extreme seen in the above photo, it still pulls down.

We can relax this; resulting in a lift to the jawline jawline and smoother neck when animating, talking etc.

Long term, this helps with a more defined jawline by preventing the downward action of this large muscle.

🌸 Spring Update! 🌸

We’re excited to introduce Nurse Prescriber Isabel, who will be joining the team this summer as an injector. Over the next few weeks and months she’ll be shadowing us in clinic.

Isabel brings 3 years of aesthetics experience alongside an incredible 21 years of cardiology nursing within the NHS (we’re still not convinced she’s old enough for that either!).

We can’t wait for you to meet her.

✨ More good news: Pippa is a greatly valued team member. Due to popular demand, she is increasing her clinic hours and will now be with us three days per week — Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (with some Saturdays for a short time).

It’s all about skin treatments in 2025 🙌

Sculptra is for everyone. It triggers collagen production on a mega scale.

It is an excellent option for those wanting to avoid filler, but that need some collagen and volume restoration.

Collagen = commitment. Rome wasn’t built in a day, and neither is collagen. We can inject 2 vials (in the face) per sitting and suggest that subsequent sessions are booked 6 weeks apart.

NB: you can’t have laser or filler for 6 months after Sculptra 😬 (tox is fine)

We are half way through our journey treating this patients loose skin and stretch marks around her tummy, following her 3 pregnancies.

CO2 laser ablates (removes) the skin. By ablating small columns of skin, the skin tightens instantly.

The treatment is fairly aggressive, with about 4-6 weeks of redness expected on the tummy. So this is not a quick fix- but it is a very effective fix.

Is this similar to microneedling or SkinPen? No. One CO2 laser session = 8-12 sessions of SkinPen!

This patient chewed her food on one side for many years, which resulted in a large, right masseter. She disliked the a-symmetrical appearance.

More commonly this treatment is performed bilaterally to “slim” both sides of the jaw.
