Yesterday (Tuesday) a client booked the Holistic Facial that involves lots of massages, pressure points and lymphatic drainage.
As soon as I started, the client tried to push tears back but she couldn’t stop. So she felt she needed to apologise. She explained that she lost her father 3 days ago, and she was helping her mother with her health issues. Towards the end of the facial, as I was performing the Gua Sha, she stopped crying and was more at peace.

At this right moment I recalled that two weeks ago, a client informed me that he was grieving before the start of his massage. As soon as I started, he used breathing techniques. Towards the last 15 minutes of the session, he stopped doing deep breathing.

It is then I realised that a massage session does not only help to relieve muscle tension, stress, make you feel relaxed and happy. A very powerful massage has also a therapeutic effect for people who are grieving.
A massage is a healing process.

Whatever the grievance is, a divorce, a relationship break up, a separation, the massage helps to heal the pain that you hold inside your body.

Whatever the massage is (body massage, facial, reflexology), you should not be ashamed or shy to come for a massage.

We, Therapists, are here to help. We know how to handle the situation with care.

Two Hopi treatments done today at the Spa Cabin. 👂🕯️

💛 Yellow colour are ingredients of the candle. Dark colour come from inside the ears.

🗣️ When the candle is burning, a light suction action is created, and the movement of the flame creates a vibration of air in the candle which generates a massage-like effect on the eardrum.

Ear candles are made with honey, sage and chamomile.

⛔️ For safety reasons we do not recommend you to carry out the treatment by yourself.
It should always be done by a professional therapist. This will ensure your safety during the treatment and enables a considerably deeper relaxation.
