For the Fallen
They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.
With poppies red and silence deep,
We bow our heads, we pause, we weep.
For those who marched through fire and fear,
Their courage echoes year by year.
The bugle calls, the flags are flown,
In quiet hearts their names are known.
From Flanders fields to desert skies,
Their legacy forever lies.
So let us live with grateful grace,
And hold their memory in this place.
For peace they fought, for peace they fell—
We honour them, and wish them well
