April is here, and it is Testicular Cancer Awareness Month! Testicular cancer is one of the most common cancers amongst young men, and those aged 20 to 40 years are most susceptible. Here are some symptoms of testicular cancer:

β€’ A painless lump in one or both te**es
β€’ An occasional heavy or aching sensation in the te**es

If you have any of these symptoms, do make an appointment with your doctor to get checked!

March is Ovarian Cancer Month

This month is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month. We take a look at the signs and symptoms to be aware of below πŸ‘‡

🟒 a long-lasting bloated or swollen tummy
🟒 feeling full quickly when you eat
🟒 loss of appetite
🟒 pain in the lower tummy area or back
🟒 p*eing (passing urine) more often than usual
🟒 needing to p*e urgently (feeling like you cannot hold on).

Other symptoms may include:
🟒 a change in your normal bowel function (diarrhoea or constipation)
🟒 weight loss for no obvious reason
🟒 unexplained or extreme tiredness (fatigue)
🟒 vaginal bleeding after the menopause.

Some of these symptoms can be caused by other conditions. But it is important to get any symptoms checked by your GP.

Ovarian cancer can affect women, transgender men and people assigned female at birth, as it can affect anyone with ovaries and fallopian tubes.
