Mpowered Birth Let's get you, the birth that's right for you! I am here for you throughout your journey or just for part of it - whatever you need.

I can help you to feel empowered in your choices by providing antenatal education, emotional support and practical guidance. I understand first hand that pregnancy, birth and, maybe especially, the postnatal period can be a challenging and sometimes overwhelming ride. Having continuous support from someone you trust during this transition into parenthood has proven to improve outcomes for families

. I am truly honoured to be welcomed into the magic of the birthing room or into the special baby bubble that follows.

I offer full antenatal classes so you'll go from scared and anxious to empowered and excited about your birth!

My birth classes are:

- Immersive and interactive (so you and your birth partner can connect and have some fun!)
- Scientifically based (no BS!)
- Educational (so you'll feel confident to make informed decisions)
- Full of tools and techniques we'll practice together (so you'll feel well equipped)
- From the comfort of your own home or from a cosy local venue

Practicing yoga (safely) during pregnancy can be really beneficial.

- It can help your body to feel good, and more comfortable, while pregnant.

- It can help your baby get into a great position for birth, and your body be strong and ready for it too.

- It can help you practice some of the positions you might enjoy during labour and birth.

- It can help you relax which is important during and at the end of pregnancy. You can take a bit of time out to focus on you and baby.

- And one that's often overlooked (but is super helpful) is that it can teach you to connect your breath to your body's movements, and get you into the habit of using your breath in ways that will help you during labour.

If you're not familiar with yoga, it is advised to wait until you are in your second trimester to begin (specific pregnancy yoga classes are great for beginners).

Avoid positions which compress the belly (twists, forward bends). Pregnancy yoga classes will only use pregnancy-safe positions.

Be careful not to over-stretch (if you are familiar with yoga you might want to be mindful of this). During pregnancy, the hormone called 'relaxin' (great name) makes your joints extra loose and stretchy (what we want right?), which means it's easy to over-do it, so take it gentle and enjoy the time to relax!

Why do an in-person Hypnobirthing course?

- The course can be tailored to you, which means you can ask your specific questions and get them answered in a way that makes sense to you.

- The course is interactive which means you will really take in the information on a deeper level, and it makes it really fun and interesting to learn too!

- We practice the techniques together which means we can really make sure you've got them down to a T!

- An in-person course is a really lovely relaxing experience for you and your birth partner, to take time out of your busy life during your pregnancy.

Come for a walk and talk in nature.

Get support from a local Doula, and others who are at a similar stage to you, under the shade of the forest roundhouse and have a gentle stroll in beautiful ancient woodland. Let the fresh air and movement refresh you and your baby.

We may discuss any and all aspects of:
