The new year sometimes brings with it a sense of pressure for change, to be or to feel different.
The buds on this tree reminded me that… it’s ok to be here right now…wintering, healing, preparing for regrowth and renewal when the time comes.
As we move into the new year if you are wanting change but aren’t there yet, remember it’s ok to be where you are. This acceptance is a place from which we can start to identify what is going to support us to get where we want to be. That may be all you need right now.

I’ve been busy behind the scenes over the last few months…
In March I completed my Advanced EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) practitioner certification (accredited by EFT International).
Then in July, I received my coaching accreditation from EMCC Global (European Mentoring & Coaching Council). Both of which have been opportunities to learn more & really grow as a practitioner.
Throughout my training & through the CPD I continue to undertake I have been very fortunate to be taught by and learn alongside such inspiring therapists, coaches & practitioners, for which I feel so grateful.
This gives me the confidence to support other women through challenges they are facing and to finding their way to living more authentically and well, through Therapeutic Coaching and EFT Therapy.

What do you need in order to bloom?
To really flourish we often need to integrate rejected parts of ourselves. Those shadowy parts we have tried to disguise or hide from others and even from ourselves.
This could be the part of us that feels things deeply or our inner child that we need to acknowledge and embrace, rather than ignore.
When we try to understand, explore and accept those parts of ourselves we can find our way to feeling more whole, becoming more authentic and true to ourselves.
Coaching integrating therapeutic techniques such as EFT & NLP can really help with this process. Get in touch for a free chat about how it could support you.

Life can feel busy. We might have work, caring commitments, interests, hobbies & friends to juggle, as well as needing to look after our health & wellbeing.
It can be hard to find the time and space that allows us to really tune in with ourselves & to understand what will be most beneficial for us & for others. When we do take this time however, it really pays off in the long run.
When I help others to do this in therapeutic coaching sessions, and when I do this myself, I see how it enables us to make choices that are right for us. It helps us to find the answers inside, rather than looking for them outside ourselves. It helps us to release fears and to move forward with confidence & ease.
So making space for you is time well spent.

Well what a 10 days it has been.
Beginning with visiting the beautiful city of Barcelona, then travelling along the coast for a retreat, surrounded by the sea and wonderful, inspiring women - fellow self-healers, coaches, therapists, EFT practitioners & trainers.
I’ve come home feeling so refreshed, my heart full & my soul replenished. Very grateful to have had this time spent in nature & connecting with others. I’ve learnt so much that I’m bringing back with me that I can use to support myself and others.

The turning of the season has got me thinking about change.
Some change like the natural shift from winter to spring, is expected and most often welcome.
But other kinds of change can feel unwelcome, especially if we aren’t expecting it or we haven’t initiated it.
In this case, by bringing awareness to our thoughts & feelings around it, we can start to accept the change & what it means for us.
Then we can begin to open up to new possibilities.
Therapy & coaching gives us the space we might not otherwise have to explore our thoughts and feelings around change (whether welcome or not). This can enable new possibilities to emerge and different ways of responding.

I noticed recently how there are trees that are still holding onto some of their old leaves even though we are part way through the winter, and it reminded me how we sometimes hold onto things even when they are not helpful to us - difficult emotions, limiting beliefs, unhealthy behaviours - until we are ready to let them go.
When we become aware of & recognise what we are still holding onto & carrying, we can gradually loosen this grip & let it go.
Then we make space for new growth & can flourish.

The idea of tapping on acupressure points on our face & upper body can sound & look strange but evidence shows its effectiveness & the results we experience often speak for themselves, especially when we are guided by a practitioner.
EFT/tapping is a body based stress- reduction technique. And there are many benefits we can experience through EFT/tapping including:
- Connecting with our body & receiving the messages it has for us.
- Gaining awareness of what’s going on in our minds & of the thoughts & beliefs that we are holding consciously or unconsciously.
- Gaining an understanding of our current experience & how past experiences may be impacting it.
- Acknowledging what is really true for us, how we feel & what we need.
- Understanding & transforming the relationship we have with ourselves & with our emotions, thoughts & body.
- Aligning our energy & intentions so we can move towards the future we desire.
At its best EFT/tapping can feel like an effortless exploration of our present and the past, bringing awareness, clarity & relief.

As the sun goes down this ‘blue’ Monday…
Maybe like the sky we can be blue, or pink with different shades of grey…
And that’s ok.

The festive season can feel like the most wonderful time of the year, but can also be a stressful time.
Especially if we are holding high expectations for ourselves about how things should be.
Often it is the gap between what we expect (of ourselves & situations) and our lived reality that causes us the most upset. Sometimes lowering or even letting go of some expectations can free us to enjoy things just as they are.
If we set an intention, rather than an expectation, about how we would like to feel, we can get clear about what is important to us. If we want to feel lighthearted & connected to those we love, then we know what to prioritise, letting go of the need for everything to be perfect or a certain way.

Sometimes we can struggle to find our way. Whether we are navigating through difficulties, looking for our way when we feel lost, or searching for a way of living that is right for us.
Taking time to connect with ourselves, becoming more aware of how we really feel and what matters to us will help us to find our own way. And sometimes we need some support to do this.
But remember it doesn’t have to be or look a certain way.

Hi, I’m Lynda Loveday, a therapeutic coach trained in NLP (Neuro-linguistic Programming), EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), Hypnotherapy, Life Coaching and Mindfulness.
I offer therapeutic coaching sessions using effective tools to support others to improve their emotional well-being – a solution-focused approach to help to relieve stress and anxiety, increase confidence and allow people to create the positive change they would like in their lives.
Why 'living sensitively'?
Living sensitively means living in a way in which we are sensitive to our own wellbeing and the wellbeing of others. Through recognising and understanding our inner experience, cultivating compassion for ourselves and others, we can affect positive change within and undergo powerful transformation.
When we live in a way that is out of touch with our own emotions and needs, we become dissatisfied and yet we don't know why. When this happens, becoming more sensitive to ourselves and our experience of life is hugely beneficial.
On the other hand, we may feel overly sensitive, feeling overwhelmed by our emotions and experiences, making it hard to live with them. When this happens, finding ways to cope and support ourselves is extremely helpful.
It's about finding balance in order to live a full and satisfying life.
