Your body is not broken. It is brilliant. ✨

Science has shown that our cells have an internal self-healing and self-cleaning system — a natural process where the body breaks down damaged parts and recycles them to stay healthy and strong. This means your body is constantly working to repair, protect, and renew itself.

This is a powerful reminder:
🌱 Healing is not something only outside forces do to you.
🌱 Healing is something your body is designed to do from within.
🌱 You are not powerless. You are biologically intelligent.

Medicine and doctors are important tools — but they are not the source of healing.
Your body is.
They support it. They assist it. They guide it.
But the wisdom already lives inside you.

Trust your body.
Support it.
Nourish it.
Create the conditions for healing.

Because your body isn’t waiting to be saved —
it’s waiting to be supported. 💚

January gets labeled as a time to fix ourselves—to start over, do more, be better.

But nature tells a different story.

The earth is still resting. Seeds are quiet beneath the soil, gathering energy. This isn’t a season for forcing change—it’s a season for soft intentions, reflection, and listening inward. Growth will come when the timing is right.

🌸 Flower of the Month: Carnation

In homeopathy, remedies from the carnation family (Caryophyllaceae)—most notably Saponaria officinalis—support us during the beginnings of acute colds. Just as January asks us to slow down and tend gently, this remedy is known to help “break up” a cold when it first appears.

✨ Especially helpful for:
• Early stages of a head cold (runny or congested nose)
• Sore, dry throat
• Beginning, dry cough

A reminder that both healing and growth don’t need to be rushed; sometimes, support comes from meeting things early and gently.

Two great days at the “Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine Conference “in London, keeping up with all the latest developments and innovations in the fields of nutrition and preventive medicine.
As a healthcare professional my goal is to always stay informed and bring that knowledge back to our community through initiatives — like the upcoming workshop with my sister, clinical dietician, on the 22–23 November (👉How to support your immune system during menopause).
All with one mission: to inform, inspire, and help change daily habits for better health.

💚 Once again, the Plant l-based diet —fruits, vegetables, legumes, nuts, and olive oil — stands out as one of the most powerful tools for wellbeing.
When combined with the principles of Lifestyle Medicine, it can help prevent or manage inflammation, cardiometabolic issues, and other chronic conditions — through simple, everyday steps that bring true vitality.
Some moments where new friendships formed, and meaningful connections reinforced: with Despina and Dr Vasiliki Skalafuri, with clinical dietician , Dr Shireen Kassan and Miss Sacks .

🌞 Have you started supplementing with Vitamin D yet? 🌿✨

I’ve been diving into studies about Vitamin D and its crucial role in women’s brain health before menopause. 🧠 Did you know there’s a fascinating connection between Vitamin D and estrogens? They work together , providing vital neuroprotective functions—and both start to decline in midlife. 😱
While many of us are aware of the estrogen drop, it’s essential to realise that this decline also reduces our Vitamin D production. Plus, our absorption of Vitamin D in the gut can decrease over time. 😔

Still need more reasons to start supplementing? Vitamin D is a powerhouse for your immune system and helps reduce inflammation. 💪
So, let’s make sure your levels aren’t just normal; aim for optimal—over 50 ng/mL! 📈✨

Can phytonutrients in berries 🫐 combat oxidation, inflammation, and enhance blood flow?
Studies show increased berry consumption, particularly blueberries, is linked to improved cognitive function 🧠 and neuroprotection, possibly delaying cognitive decline!
When adding the equivalent of one daily cup of blueberries to the diets of older adults, researchers found an improvement in their long-term memory!
My favourite snack in front of a netflix series? Berries with chopped dark chocolate😋

So manu people suffering with long Covid, great to see how supportive can homeopathy be!

Findings in a recently published study suggest that individualised homeopathy may be a valuable complementary option in the treatment of Long COVID-19, including in severe cases.

The study published in Integrative and Complementary Medicine involved fifteen female patients with Long COVID-19 aimed to assess the impact of adjunctive, individualised homeopathic treatment. The patients, with an average age of 48.5 years, experienced a variety of symptoms, none of which were identical. Following homeopathic treatment, 93.3% of the patients showed timely improvement or full recovery, with an average recovery time of 47.6 days.

Long COVID-19 is defined as the persistence or emergence of symptoms more than four weeks after a confirmed COVID-19 infection, which cannot be explained by other conditions and were not present prior to infection.
