When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change (thank you Wayne Dyer 🙏)

We had the privilege of delivering the Well I Am experience to a wonderful sustainable food and supply chain company based in the South West yesterday.

We focussed on our Stress Well, Think Well and Start Well wellbeing pillars and we left them and their fluffy friends in their office with a new set of lens with which to view the world through!

When you are busy, on the run, didn't make your lunch to take to work last night and you want high protein, high fibre, healthy food - this could be a winner!

Pack all your salad and protein bits away from the rice cakes so they don't go soggy. I tend to go with whatever is in season - rocket, watercress and endives for the bitterness, sweet cherry tomatoes, some radishes, red pepper, cucumber, avocado and pine nuts. You could spray with a little balsamic or make up a nice little dressing with white wine vinegar and dijon mustard, a crack of pepper and a pinch of salt and then top with prawns, tuna, egg, chicken, steak, lentils, marinated tofu...whatever protein takes your fancy.

I use kallo lentil cakes as my base and keep those wrapped separately until I want to eat.

Fresh, delicious and a move away from the packaged sandwich.

"Either you run the day, or the day runs you" (Jim Rohn) 🌅
During the craziness of lockdown Lisa and Emma started running early morning ‘miracle mornings’ on zoom. Based on the principles of Hal Elrod’s book “The Miracle Morning” it was a way of keeping their teams connected and positive in a challenging and uncertain time.
We were not prepared for the impact it would have on people. Our teams starting inviting their friends, who were inviting their families and before we knew it we had 100+ people every morning being hosted through a structured morning routine to anchor them in peace, thinking time and positivity before the busyiness of the day kicked in.
People reported back daily saying how much calmer and more centered they felt throughout the day, how their focus and productivity levels had increased and how much more in control of their life and work they felt. Many people said they “just felt happier”.
This is backed up by research which links a healthy morning routine (no matter how simple) to adopting and maintaining healthy habits throughout the day, boosting overall well-being, focus and productivity!
So it was a no-brainer to include bring these learnings to bear in our Start Well module where we delve into the benefits and components of an effective morning and / or evening routine, discover the magic of a 'miracle morning' routine first hand, and craft personalised strategies for seamless implementation into your daily life.

Spotlight on Eat Well

Well I Am integrates nutrition and mindset concepts, creating awareness of the impact of eating and thinking habits on focus, energy and resilience levels. It offers practical solutions to help employees change these habits to improve overall well-being, morale and productivity.

What you eat, how you eat, when you eat and your consciousness around eating (and drinking) is paramount to your health. Sometimes we eat without thinking. Sometimes we don’t make the connection between the foods and drinks we consume and the positive and detrimental impact they can have on both our physical and emotional wellbeing.

Our Eat Well module will set you up for success with a deep dive into the inner workings of our digestive system and the foods that play a part in our mindset, energy levels and stress management.

We jump into the foods that work when you are on the go, at your desk, rushing first thing to get the children to school or to make that train!

How would you like to turn that chaos into calm? Increase your energy and stamina throughout the day and banish the brain fog?

But food won’t work alone - we have to combine it with the right mindset.

Ever thought about how our beliefs and emotional states influence our workplace interactions? 🤔
The Communicate Well module takes a fresh approach to communication – we won’t be sharing how to craft pyramid communications or construct storylines but we will be diving deep into the attitudes and emotional states that set the tone for our workplace relationships. 🌟
We can have top-notch communication skills, but if our underlying beliefs about ourselves
and others are shaky, the opportunity for genuine connection and understanding with colleagues is eroded.

This module explores how our life perspectives and ego states shape our interactions and how to adjust our communication by understanding our default mindsets and emotional states.
It emphasises active listening and gives practical strategies for effective engagement, equipping your employees to engage in workplace interactions as equals, building stronger relationships and creating a more collaborative and supportive work environment along the way 🤝💡

Spotlight on Think Well Module

All productivity roads lead to self-esteem! 🚀

How we think and our thinking patterns is actually just a habit, formed by repetition over time. And just like any other habit we can change it or replace it with a more positive habit to be more helpful to us.

When we are in the thick of the stresses and busyness of our work day we can lose all awareness of our thinking and essentially ‘become our thoughts’. This leaves no space or capacity for reflection and often drives ‘autopilot’ behaviours and decision making that are not necessarily best serving us, our colleagues or ultimately our organisation.

Some examples of common negative thinking patterns at work that can get baked in to our psyche and stop us from showing up with confidence, creativity and openness with our teams are;

🧠 Imposter syndrome - “I am not good enough”
🧠 Perfectionism – “It needs to be 100% perfect before I can put it out there”
🧠 Fear of failure – “I will play it safe and avoid risk and challenge in case I fail”

And believe me…we are talking from experience!

The Think Well module gives a grounding in some of the concepts behind where our ‘autopilot’ thinking comes from – awareness is the first step! And then we work through simple and practical ways to help your employees identify negative thinking patterns, reframe and forge different thinking habits to improve overall self-esteem, morale and productivity.

It’s not often I’m sceptical about food … but I can’t get past the smell of the Himalayan Strawberry Tree fruit. It’s a dogwood and whilst it can taste bitter (either a sign of poison or something to get your digestive juices flowing, you choose in this case), it was the smell that did for me. Like a fermentation gone very bad 🤢

I wonder if anyone has had these at their best??

Based in Bath, 360 Fit Food takes an all round look at the foods that will support you most effectively, whether you're looking to get fit, keep trim, deal with chronic illness, reduce your injury risk during training and events or need some nutrition intake inspiration as a performance athlete. We believe that everything you eat should help you to meet your goals, look exciting and taste delicious. Menus are planned around seasonal produce to maximise your nutritional intake. Our prepared meals and snacks are made from locally sourced produce where possible and meat, fish, eggs and dairy are free range, organic and/or grass fed. If you're unsure how to get the best from food, are frustrated at having to double cater for yourself and then other household members or just can't get excited about food when it comes down to grams of protein and carbohydrate, talk to us.
