Before you book lip filler… read this first 👄

Lip filler isn’t a “one size fits all” treatment and the best results start long before the needle.
Here are a few things I always want patients to know:

✨ Your natural lip shape matters
Not everyone is suited to the same style of lips. The best enhancements respect your natural anatomy and work with your face, not against it.

✨ Subtle often looks better
The goal isn’t always bigger lips. Sometimes it’s hydration, soft definition, or restoring volume that has naturally reduced over time.

✨ It may take more than one appointment
Beautiful lips are often built gradually. Starting slowly allows the tissue to adapt and keeps results balanced and natural.

✨ The consultation is everything
Your practitioner should assess your face, proportions, lip movement and discuss your goals properly. If this step feels rushed, that’s a red flag.

Lip filler done well shouldn’t be obvious.
It should simply look like you… on your best day.

Thinking about lip filler? Save this post so you know what to look for before booking. ✨

The most underrated treatment for March?
Skin boosters. ✨

While many people are thinking about toxin or filler, skin boosters are quietly one of the most powerful treatments for improving your skin quality.

After months of cold weather, central heating and dull winter skin, March is the perfect time to focus on hydration from within.

Skin boosters work by delivering hyaluronic acid directly into the skin to:
• Deeply hydrate
• Improve skin texture and elasticity
• Restore radiance
• Create that healthy, glowing skin we all want

This isn’t about adding volume or changing how you look. It’s about improving the quality of your skin so it looks fresher, smoother and more luminous.

Think of it as investing in your skin rather than altering it.

The results? Subtle, healthy and beautifully natural.

If your skin is feeling tired, dehydrated or lacking that glow after winter… skin boosters might be the treatment you didn’t realise you needed. ✨

The women who sit in my chair… 🤍

One of the unexpected privileges of this job is the women I get to meet.

Every day, different stories, different journeys, but there are always the same qualities that shine through.

Strength.
Determination.
Ambition.

Some come in during a busy lunch break, juggling careers, families and everything in between.
Some are rebuilding their confidence after a difficult chapter.
Some are chasing goals, building businesses, raising children, or simply learning to prioritise themselves again.

What I’ve learnt is that aesthetic treatments are rarely just about how someone looks.

They’re about how someone feels when they look in the mirror. About confidence. About feeling aligned with the person they are inside.

The women who sit in my chair remind me daily that confidence isn’t vanity - it’s power.
And being trusted as part of that journey is something I never take lightly.

To every woman who has ever sat in my chair, thank you for sharing a small part of your story with me. ✨

If you’re someone who believes in subtle treatments, education and feeling like the best version of you, you’re always welcome here.

Sculptra: The Treatment That Works With Your Skin ✨

Not all aesthetic treatments are about instant change… some of the most beautiful results happen gradually.

Sculptra works differently to traditional dermal filler. Instead of simply adding volume, it stimulates your skin to produce its own collagen, helping to restore structure, firmness and subtle volume over time.

What makes it so special?
• Results appear gradually, so you still look like you
• It helps improve skin quality and firmness
• Restores lost facial support rather than just filling lines
• Results can last up to 2 years

Think of it as rebuilding the foundations of the face, rather than just treating the surface.
Because collagen takes time to develop, Sculptra is usually done as a course of treatments, with results building beautifully over the following months.

The goal?
✨ Natural
✨ Subtle
✨ Long-lasting rejuvenation

Not everyone is suitable, which is why a thorough consultation is always the first step to decide the right approach for your face.

Have you heard of Sculptra before, or is this a treatment you’re curious about? Let me know below 👇

Why Lip Filler Top Ups Actually Help 💉💋

Top ups aren’t about “making them bigger.”

They’re about keeping them balanced, hydrated and intentional.

Here’s why they matter:

💧 1. Filler naturally metabolises
Most lip fillers (usually hyaluronic acid based like Juvederm, Revolax or Restylane) gradually break down over time. As this happens, lips can lose subtle structure and hydration.

⚖️ 2. Maintaining shape is easier than rebuilding it
Small, strategic top ups maintain definition of the border, cupid’s bow and side profile, rather than waiting until everything has dissolved and starting from scratch.

👩‍⚕️ 3. Subtle refinement > dramatic change
Tiny adjustments allow us to refine symmetry, improve projection or soften areas that have settled. It’s about evolution, not escalation.

💋 4. They keep results looking natural
When done correctly, regular maintenance means your lips never look overfilled, just consistently fresh.

In clinic, I always assess:
• Has the filler integrated well?
• Is there migration?
• Does your face still need the same volume?
Because top ups should always be tailored, not automatic.

The goal?
Lips that look like you… just gently enhanced.

✨ Are you someone who prefers maintenance little and often, or do you wait until it’s fully gone?

I am an Injector edition ...

Being an injector isn’t about “doing lips” or “freezing lines.”

It’s about responsibility. Precision. Ethics. And understanding faces on a deeper level.

Every appointment is more than a syringe.

It’s anatomy.
It’s muscle movement.
It’s vascular pathways.
It’s psychology.
It’s knowing when to treat… and when not to.

As an injector, you’re not just placing product, you’re assessing balance, proportion and long-term outcomes. You’re managing risk. You’re continuously studying. You’re refining technique. You’re protecting your patient’s safety above all else.

People see the before & afters.

They don’t see the hours of training, complications management study, anatomy revision, case reflection, and the weight of responsibility that comes with altering someone’s face.

Being an injector means:
• Choosing prescription-only products from reputable UK pharmacies
• Understanding dilution, dosing and muscle strength
• Respecting natural anatomy
• Saying “no” when it’s not in the patient’s best interest
• Prioritising subtle, balanced results over trends

It’s not about making everyone look the same.
It’s about keeping people looking like themselves, just fresher, rested and confident.
And the most important skill?
Decision making.
Because sometimes the best injection… is no injection.

If you value subtle, ethical aesthetics and education over trends, you’re in the right place 🤍

You might book in thinking you need lip filler.
Or more cheek volume.
Or anti-wrinkle injections.

But when you sit in my chair, I’m assessing:
• Facial proportions
• Muscle movement
• Skin quality
• Previous treatments
• Long-term ageing patterns
And sometimes… the best result comes from a completely different plan.

✨ Skin first, then structure
✨ Subtle balancing instead of adding
✨ Toxin before filler
✨ Or simply waiting

My role isn’t to say yes to everything.
It’s to guide you towards what will look the most natural - now and in five years’ time.

“Have you ever changed your mind after a proper consultation?”

Polynucleotides… the treatment everyone is whispering about 🤍

If you’re looking for skin quality over volume… this is for you.

Polynucleotides are regenerative injectables derived from purified DNA fragments that work by stimulating fibroblasts, encouraging your skin to produce more collagen and elastin naturally.

This isn’t about adding shape.
It’s about improving the canvas.

✨ Improves skin texture
✨ Boosts hydration from within
✨ Softens fine lines
✨ Strengthens thin, crepey skin (especially under eyes)
✨ Reduces inflammation and supports healing

Unlike dermal filler, polynucleotides don’t “fill”, they regenerate. The results are subtle, progressive and beautifully natural.

Perfect for:
• Tired under-eyes
• Dull or thinning skin
• Acne scarring
• Clients wanting prevention over correction
• Anyone not ready for filler but wanting real change

Downtime?
Mild swelling or small bumps for 24–48 hours. Minimal bruising possible. A course of treatments is usually recommended for optimal results.

This is skin longevity.
This is ageing well- not altering.

Would you choose regeneration over volume?

Toxin doesn’t change who you are… it just softens what you don’t love 🤍

One of the biggest fears I hear in clinic is: “I don’t want to look frozen.” “I still want to look like me.”

And you absolutely should.

Anti-wrinkle treatment (toxin) isn’t about erasing expression.
It’s about:
✨ Softening lines that are starting to sit at rest
✨ Preventing deeper creasing over time
✨ Creating a fresher, well-rested appearance
✨ Keeping your natural movement - just smoother

When placed correctly, with the right dose for your muscle strength and facial anatomy, you should still:
✔️ Smile
✔️ Frown
✔️ Look surprised
✔️ Recognise yourself in photos

The goal is not a different face. It’s your face… on a really good day.

Subtle. Tailored. Undetectable.

If you’ve been worried about looking “done” let’s talk about conservative dosing and personalised treatment plans. Because the best results are the ones nobody can quite put their finger on 💭

Save this if you love natural results & send it to someone who still thinks toxin means frozen ❄️

Lip shape is not one-size-fits-all 🤍

One of the biggest misconceptions I see in clinic is that there is a “perfect” lip shape. There isn’t.

Every face carries its own structure, bone shape, chin projection, nose profile, smile dynamics, age-related changes and your lips should complement that, not compete with it.

Some lips suit:
• A soft, rounded Cupid’s bow
• A flatter, straighter upper lip
• A fuller lower lip for balance
• Subtle hydration with barely-there volume
• Gentle definition to restore what’s been lost

Enhancement isn’t about copying someone else’s shape.

It’s about working with your natural anatomy and enhancing what’s already there so it harmonises with the rest of your features.

The goal?
✔️ Balance
✔️ Proportion
✔️ Movement
✔️ Undetectable refinement

When lip filler is tailored properly, people don’t say “have you had your lips done?”
They say, “you look well.”

Your lips should complement your face naturally, not overpower it.

What lip shape do you feel suits your face best - subtle definition or noticeable volume? 💬

I debated for a long time about putting my certificates on the wall…

Not because I’m not proud of them.

But because I questioned what they really show.

In aesthetics, education is constantly evolving. Techniques refine. Products improve. Research changes. What I learned 5 years ago isn’t the same as what I know today.
A certificate captures a single moment in time.

It doesn’t show:
• The ongoing advanced training
• The extra study after clinic hours
• The complications management courses
• The mentorship
• The experience built patient by patient

And it definitely doesn’t show clinical judgement.

So I asked myself… do certificates truly reflect the depth of learning?

But here’s what changed my mind 👇
Transparency matters.
Reassurance matters.
Professional standards matter.
Sharing qualifications isn’t about ego, it’s about showing you that your practitioner invests in safe, regulated, evidence-based practice.

Behind every framed certificate is:
✨ Accountability
✨ Regulation
✨ Continued professional development
✨ A commitment to doing this properly

The real growth happens long after the certificate is printed.

But sharing them shows you that growth started intentionally.

What do you look for when choosing an aesthetic practitioner? 👇
