I often get asked to explain kinesiology. This sums it up well.
Kinesiology is one of the fastest growing modalities in the UK!
However, we often get asked what it is and how it works so this post gives a short explanation of the magic that happens in a session.
💪Kinesiologists use muscle response testing as a way of getting biofeedback from your body.
Kinesiology is based on the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Each muscle we test is linked to one of the five elements, a meridian (energy pathway), an organ and an emotion.
If a muscle tests strong or locked, we know that the body is in balance in that corresponding 'system'. If a muscle tests weak/unlocks or is hypertonic (overly strong), we know there is an imbalance in that system or circuit.
We then work to restore balance to all of the areas the body has confirmed are priority through muscle testing. There may be physical, biochemical, emotional or electrical (energetic) imbalances. Often there are imbalances in all 4 realms.
Using specific tools and techniques such as; massaging neuro lymphatic points, holding neuro vascular points, running meridians to encourage the flow of energy, emotional stress release, nutritional support and electrical balancing, Kinesiologists make corrections to bring the body back into a state of homeostasis.
Not only will you immediately feel different and more relaxed, your body will confirm through a strong muscle response that a natural balanced state has been restored.
Kinesiology is like MAGIC! ✨ Many of our clients describe it this way too.
There are many benefits to choosing Kinesiology for your health and wellbeing needs.
Here are just a few of them:
✅It's natural and promotes natural self-healing
✅It heals the issue at the root rather than treating the symptom
✅It's holistic
✅It focuses on the whole person
✅It's simple
✅It's non-invasive
✅It's effective and long-lasting
