Do you suffer from Jaw pain? Here are our top tips from Jasmine for home management.

Known as Temporomandibular Joint Disorder (TMJ) affecting approximately 1 in 10 people in the UK, primarily in 20-40s age range with women more commonly impacted.

Symptoms can include:

• Pain around your jaw, cheek, ear, neck and shoulders.
• Restricted movement making it difficult to chew or fully open your mouth.
• Popping, clicking or grating sounds when moving your jaw.
• Headaches.
• Bite feeling uneven.

These symptoms can worsen when you chew or with times of increased stress and don’t always include pain.

Often some home management and stress relief can ease symptoms, but if you are concerned please consult a healthcare provider like Jasmine or your dentist.
