Good morning 👋 After the government’s announcement, we would like to reassure patients that we’ll remain OPEN! We will still continue to see patients and follow any new guidance as and when it’s released. We will still be operating as normal (or the new normal) until we hear differently from NHS England. Please be patient and understanding if we do need to move or rearrange your check up in the coming month. Stay safe everyone, love BDP x

Good afternoon. From Monday there will be a few changes we’d like our patients to know about before reopening our doors again. Initially we will only be seeing very few emergency/pain appointments, we are limited to the treatment we can provide at this stage until we access the correct PPE. These appointments will be filtered and triaged by our lovely reception team and dentists, so please call if you have an ongoing problem. Please do NOT enter the building unless you have an appointment booked.

*We will call you before the appointment to ask some screening questions.

*We will also ask you to fill out the patient portal when you receive an appointment reminder via the email link.

*We politely ask you to attend alone (unless the patient needs a carer or if accompanying a child).

*Upon entering the building we ask you not to enter until your exact appointment time.

*We are encouraging all patients to wear a face mask or face covering into the premises if you have one.

*We ask you to hand sanitise as soon as you step through the doors.

*We ask you to respect the 2 metre social distancing rule if possible.

*You may get temperature checked and asked to swill with mouthwash prior to treatment.

*After treatment we’ll ask you to pay by contactless card or by online banking.

All of this may seem a little extreme but it is for yours and our safety. We look forward to seeing you again soon 🦷🦷🦷

IMPORTANT UPDATE!!!!!! Following the PM's announcement this evening:
We are pleased to be able to consider offering our services to our patients again at some point after the 8th June. It is important to note, however, that at this point there is no firm guidance from the authorities on the specifics of how to operate safely or what PPE (personal protective equipment) will be required. The safety of our patients and staff is paramount; we will implement any changes required as we hear about them and open only when it is safe to do so. We will keep you updated as guidance is released and we can start to plan for reopening. We look forward to seeing you soon and returning to 'new' normal! BDP 🦷

🐝WE HAVE BEEN BUSY BEES🐝
As many businesses are returning back to work, unfortunately dentistry still hasn’t been given the green light. In the next coming weeks we hope to reopen and until then we have been extremely busy putting things into place for a safe return. We want to ensure patients and staff are protected and feel safe when they walk through our doors again after so long. This of course means entering our practice may look a little different to how it was previously, our booking systems and initial consultations may also change too. In the meantime we’ll be keeping our lovely patients up to date with our progress and until we get a confirmed date to re open, we’ll still be offering telephone advice and support on 01225485303. Sending love and well wishes to you all. 🦷BDP🦷 ###

Our Story

At Bathampton we have three modern surgeries all equipped with fibre optics, digital x-rays, intra oral cameras, the latest materials and rotary endodontic equiptment. We have 6 qualified and experienced dentists who work part time, Dr Carl Fullaway is the practice principle and from October 2019 turned fully private/denplan dentist. Dr Lowri Wall, Dr Gemma Mccann, Dr Vanessa Neves, Dr Lisa Mercer and Dr Sarah Taylor (currently on maternity leave) will all be treating patient’s predominantly on the NHS but also offer some private options. We also have a lovely hygienist who works 1 day a week (Tuesday) called Heather Arnold. Practice statement - "To provide an integrated, caring and considerate dental service as part of a growing and established health centre." This practice is committed to ethical, caring and quality family dentistry.

This practice complies with the data protection act 1998 and general data protection regulations 2018. This means we will ensure your information is processed fairly & lawfully.

We are proud to be an independent dental practice, and not part of a large, corporate chain.

NEW FOR 2019 - Portable digital x-ray unit. This new intra oral x-ray camera is ideal for those in wheelchairs who are unable to lie in the dental chair, It will also be used as a back up/contingency plan if any of the other 3 x-ray units fail or break.
