We are delighted to announce that the window for applications onto our 2026 Advanced and Foundation Programmes are officially OPEN for our Autumn intake!

“The ultimate course in coaching psychology for equestrians!”

Ten years on from our first ever course we are proud and excited to be planning for our next intake of Centre10 coaches. This is such a special programme and the highlight of our year! Over 250 coaches have been through this programme, we would absolutely love for you to be one of them!

Applications will be open for a short window so please share your interest by completing our short form.

Everyone is welcome to join our Foundation Programme and our Advanced Programme is typically open to Level 3 coaches and above (or qualified non-coaching professionals). We do recognise there are exceptional circumstances sometimes so feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

Centre10 Coaching Hub Spring Camp 2026: "Confidence; Built By Design"

Yet another fantastic Coaching Hub Spring Camp at Onley, this year discussing the huge topic of "Confidence"! We were lucky enough to have the wonderful Jason Webb (.horsemanship) and some volunteer riders to demo how to integrate the 5 pillars of confidence into your coaching...

We unpacked what confidence is, what it's not, a model in which to Observe, Model and Build rider confidence in practice and 4 key pillars to do this with, which Jason naturally demonstrated! We watched live demonstrations from Jason in how to build confidence using the pillars model and had an amazing lunch provided by Onley to wrap up the morning!

If you missed out on this one, we will be back in the Autumn, October 6th in Kendleshire for another fantastic day of learning, reflection, connection, brilliant food, and CPD!😁

That's a wrap on our 2026 Centre10 Spring Camp! We've taken some time to reflect over the last week and wanted to share some pictures and thoughts with you...

Last Monday saw our latest incredible new Centre10 Advanced Coaches graduate at Onley Equestrian Centre after 6 months of hard work and learning! We had some really interesting reflections and stories being told across the groups which has inspired lots of thinking and cogs turning at our end! (More on this to come..!)

A huge congratulations to all the new Advanced Coaches who graduated, we are so excited to be a part of your journey going forward and can't wait to see where this course takes you!👏🏼🏆

***DEMO HORSE & RIDER NEEDED***

As we prepare for our Spring Camp on 14th April at Onley Equestrian, we are looking for two demo riders who would relish the opportunity to work on their confidence with Jason Webb.

Importantly, the session will be in-hand and NOT ridden, therefore it would suit any rider looking to build their relationship and confidence with their horse using groundwork techniques. They may or may not be a competitive rider and it will be great for anyone who has specific challenges with their horse (e.g. water).

**We are looking for riders who want to work on their confidence with their horses, rather than solely unconfident horses**

They must be willing to bring their own horse to Onley. As always it helps us if you are happy to reflect on and articulate your own experiences to the group.

They will have 2 x 45 sessions with Jason and will need to be available between 1130-1430. Lunch will be provided.

Last year we held our annual Coach Awards and had a staggering 4️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ submissions from riders who wanted to nominate their coach for one of our awards!!!

There are five award categories again this year and we will take great pleasure in awarding these at our Spring Camp in April.

To give you an insight, last year's COACH OF THE YEAR 2024 was Guy Reynolds!!! 🏅🏅🏅

Our Coach of the Year is awarded to the coach who is outstanding in all four of the award areas: impact, breakthrough, contribution, and Coaches' Coach. Guy was a member of our 2020 cohort and has been an integral part of Centre10 ever since. We had over 400 votes last year and a large number were for Guy, with his riders citing his fun, informative approach, his knowledge, patience and kindness enabling him to encourage and guide them to reach their goals. Following on from his Coach of the year award with us, Guy was then awarded Instructor of the Year at the Equestrian Business Awards!

We know how much it means to our coaches to hear your feedback, and this was highlighted by Guy when he won Coach of the Year last year:

"Thank you to each one of you that voted for me, it truly does mean the world. I love what I do and it makes me so happy to know that it comes across to each of you, seeing you all succeed is my passion!"

About Centre10

Centre10 was founded in 2017 by leading Sport Psychology experts Charlie Unwin and Sarah Huntley to offer equestrian coaches and riders scientifically-backed sport and performance applied psychology training. Our unique courses in applied performance psychology provide individuals with the enhanced insights and practical methodologies needed to develop the mental strength and resilience required to be successful in sport.

We offer three applied psychology courses:

APEC Advanced is our six-month workshop-based programme. Delegates on this programme complete an intensive three-day workshop in Bath to begin the course, and then undergo six months of online learning before a final presentation workshop to finish the course. This programme is fully accredited and endorsed by the British Horse Society. BS and BD coaches can also use the workshop days towards their coach CPD.

APEC Foundation is our 12-week online programme. This has been designed for those coaches who would like a shorter course or looking for an introduction into how equestrian coaches can use sport psychology with their riders. The APEC Foundation programme is a small-group online-training course specifically designed for equestrian coaches.
