Celebrating another milestone in new technology at Bath Clinic.
Consultant Urologist Lucy Simmons performed the first HIFU procedure for the treatment of prostate cancer, at Bath Clinic this week.
HIFU (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound) is a state-of-the-art, non-invasive procedure that uses focused ultrasound energy to precisely target and destroy cancerous cells within the prostate gland, while preserving surrounding healthy tissue.
