We are a product of the choices we make.
Think about this for a moment.
Where you are in your life right now, how healthy your mind and body is, is lead by the choices you have made up until now.
Yes we can be conditioned by our past experiences, from caregivers growing up, and traumas we have experienced. But there comes a time when it’s a choice. We refuse to recognise our patterns, or we recognise them but do nothing to help change them. It’s too much of an effort or we think ‘well that’s just the way I am’.
Some things are harder to change than others, some things maybe can’t be changed but managed a lot better.
In order to grow, heal and improve your health and wellness, ask yourself questions. Dig deep. Be brutally honest with yourself. It all begins with real and true self- awareness.
Your mental health is sh*t:
Do you do anything to help yourself feel better? Do you have boundaries to help protect your peace?
📍What is it you do and don’t do that doesn’t improve your mental health?
Your physical health is deteriorating, you always feel unwell, illnesses and disease. Chronic pain and inflammation as examples:
How do you fuel your body? What’s your diet like? How often do you exercise?
📍What do you do and don’t do that doesn’t help you improve your physical health?
Your emotional health and mindset hold you back:
Do you blame everyone else instead of looking at yourself and taking accountability? How emotionally resilient are you? How do you speak to yourself? Is your glass half empty? Do you believe all your thoughts?
📍What do you do and don’t do that does not help you improve your emotional health and better your mindset?
