PATIENT INFORMATION NOTICE

We are pleased to announce that the new lift installation will be completed on 8th January. The surgery will be back to normal working on Monday 9th January.

Dear Patients,

As most of you are aware the patient lift at the surgery has over the last few months been out of use. This is not an ideal situation, particularly for our non-mobile patients.

The Partners have decided to replace the lift rather than continuing with the uncertainty of it breaking down. As you can imagine this is will be a huge undertaking given the lift location.
The work will commence on 3rd December, and it is expected to last approximately 3 weeks.

Whilst the work is being carried out, we will need to move our services to our Chickenley Branch. A doctor, nurse and administrator will remain on site to deliver a reduced service to our most vulnerable patients.

We hope you understand the reasoning behind the decision and would ask for your cooperation and patience whilst the replacement carried out.

PATIENT INFORMATION NOTICE

We would like to inform our patients that we will be installing a new lift at the practice in December 2022 (exact date is still to be confirmed). Before the installation can take place we need to carry out some remedial work on the lift shaft which will mean a reduction in the service available at Grove House. Over this period appointments will only be offered at Chickenley Medical Centre.

We anticipate that the remedial works will start 1st week of November and will take approximately 4 weeks to complete.

We would like to ask for your patience and understanding whilst this essential work is carried out.

Our clinical records system at Grove House Surgery is not working at the moment. We have moved some of our administrative staff over to our branch surgery in Chickenley and calls are being answered but it may take a little longer than usual for you to get through.

We are working with our service providers to restore it as quickly as possible and will provide an update as soon as we can.

If you have an appointment booked today please turn up at your appointment time. The clinican may be running a little later than usual. This is due to them having to record the consultation manually.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and would like ask for your patience and cooperation at this time.
