Healey Karate Club Traditional Shotokan Karate for ages 8 and above. Training times: 7pm - 9pm Tuesday & Thursday. Go to the About section for contact details.

Healey Karate club is a member of Bukonkai Karate International. We teach children and adults, and beginners are always welcome. At Healey Karate club, you will learn traditional karate, including Kihon ('Basic moves), Kata ('Patterns' or 'Forms') and Kumite (application or sparring). With karate, you will benefit from an increase in health and fitness, a boost in confidence and you will obviously

learn self-defence. The association holds frequent grading examinations, 3 times a year, numerous special courses and a national championship every year. Our associations Chief Instructor and Examiner is Sensei Lee Williams. Contact:

Congratulations to all students who successfully passed their examinations this afternoon. Special congrats to Muhammed Amaan, Raiyyaan Patel and Mia Joule for attaining the rank of Shodan - Well done, the hard work begins now! Big congratulations to all students who competed at the Nationals on Saturday, you all showed good spirit and great sportsmanship win or lose. Well done to the students who did win trophies, special mention to Brad Mackinnon for receiving the boys best performance trophy and Liam Jenkins for being awarded the Colin Williams Memorial Trophy for his overall performance in Kata and Kumite on the day.
