After 13 years of coaching, I’ve seen a few patterns over and over again... why men don’t achieve their health & fitness goals

It’s not a lack of knowledge.
It’s not bad genetics.
It’s not even motivation.

It’s usually these 4 things:

1️⃣ Lack of OrganisationIf you’re not planning your food or booking workouts into your week, you’re winging it, and that rarely works.Plan your meals the night before. Set your targets. Show up with intent.

2️⃣ Alcohol Every WeekendIt’s not just the extra calories, it’s the disrupted sleep, poor decisions, and slower recovery.
Yes, you can drink and lose fat. But only when moderation becomes the rule, not the exception.

3️⃣ No AccountabilityWhen no one’s watching, it’s easy to slip. But when someone checks in, pushes you, and holds you to a higher standard, results follow. Fast.

Want to break out of this cycle?
I’ve helped hundreds of men ditch the guesswork and build the body they actually feel confident in.

DM the word “COACH” Let’s take action & get to work 🤝🏽

Most lads don’t fail because they lack effort…
They fail because they’ve had average coaching or no real guidance at all.

A plan alone won’t change you.
Proper coaching will.

If you’re done going round in circles this year…

Drop me DM with “COACHING” & I’ll be in touch

POV: You finally look in the mirror…
and you’re actually proud of the man staring back.

Not just because you’re leaner.
Not just because you’ve built a better physique.

But because of who you had to become to get there.

The discipline.
The early mornings.
The sessions you nearly skipped but didn’t.
The nights you chose the long-term win over the short-term comfort.

Trust me… I know what it feels like to look in the mirror and not be there yet.

To feel like you’re putting effort in but not quite becoming the man you know you’re capable of being.

Most lads in their 30s I speak to feel the same way.
Busy with work.
Life moving fast.
Fitness constantly restarting every Monday.

But here’s the thing…

Every single client you see succeeding with me now has been there too.

They weren’t always disciplined.
They weren’t always confident.
They weren’t always proud of the man in the mirror.

They just made the decision to stop drifting and start building.

And that’s when everything started to change.

If you want to be the guy who looks in the mirror 6 months from now and thinks:

“Fair play… I actually did it.”

DM me “LEVEL UP” and let’s get to work.

Everyone’s “serious” about their goals…
until the weekend arrives.

Funny how discipline disappears the moment Friday night hits.

Monday you’re fired up.
Meal prep done.
Gym booked.
Motivation high.

Then the weekend comes… and suddenly the standards drop.

🍻 A few drinks
🍔 A few takeaways
😴 A few missed sessions

And just like that, 5 days of effort gets diluted in 48 hours.

Now this doesn’t mean you need to live like a boring bodybuilder eating fish and rice cakes and living in the gym all weekend.

It just means your standards can’t disappear the moment it’s Saturday.

You can still socialise.
Still enjoy yourself.
Still live your life.

But the men who actually get in great shape?

They don’t turn the weekend into damage control mode.

Six months from now you’ll either be grateful you tightened your standards…

Or still restarting every Monday.

Your goals don’t care what day it is.

Most men don’t fail Monday to Friday…
they fail Friday night.

If you’re tired of starting over every week and want structure, accountability and a plan that actually works for busy men…

DM me “LEVEL UP”. 👊🏽

Perfection is just procrastination in disguise.
Progress comes from taking action, even when it’s not perfect.

One delays change.
The other creates it.

Stop trying to be “perfect” all the time with your health & fitness goals, if you have this mindset you’ll NEVER achieve your goals..

Do your best to tick off the non-negotiable’s daily / weekly

✅ Water intake
✅ Step count
✅ Sleep
✅ Aim to eat whole foods as much as you can
✅ Stress management

If some days / weeks you’re busier than normal and can’t get to the gym 3/4x a week, go 2x, if you can stick your nutrition plan 7 days a week because of social plans / not planned your meals, choose better options on the go.

The smaller decisions you make compound.. don’t just throw the towel in 🫡

They don’t try to do everything alone.

Top CEOs have mentors.
Elite athletes have coaches.
High performers have accountability.

But the average bloke?

Thinks he should just “figure it out” with a few YouTube videos and a half-arsed gym routine.

You’ll happily invest in:

• Business mentors
• Financial advisors
• A new car
• Another watch
• Another weekend away

But when it comes to your health?

“It’s too expensive.”
“I’ll start next month.”
“I just need more motivation.”

Listen…

If your body is the vehicle that carries your career, your energy, your confidence, and your future…

Why are you treating it like an afterthought?

The most successful men prioritise performance.

Not because they’re vain.
Because they understand this:

More energy = better decisions
More strength = more presence
Lower body fat = higher confidence
Structure = less stress

You don’t rise to your goals.
You fall to your standards.

And most men’s standards for themselves are in the bin.

You don’t need more motivation.
You need structure.
You need accountability.
You need someone who calls you out when you’re slipping.

Trust me, I’ve been in that position myself. Trying to wing it. Telling myself I “know what to do.”

Over the years I’ve spent tens of thousands learning from people above me, who have been where I am now, and are where I want to be. With both business & my fitness goals.

Knowing and doing are two completely different things.

If you’re serious about levelling up the man in the mirror, not just your bank balance…

📩 DM me “LEVEL UP” and let’s build a body that matches your ambition. 🫡

This one exercise switch helped me grow my chest FASTER.

Most lads do chest flys wrong. They grab heavy dumbbells, turn it into a half press… and wonder why their shoulders feel wrecked but their chest barely grows.

One simple upgrade: cuff cable flys.

Here’s why they’re elite 👇

1. Constant tension on the chestDumbbells lose tension at the top.Cables keep the pecs loaded the entire rep.

2. No grip or forearm limitationWith cuffs, you’re not squeezing handles.Your chest does the work, not your grip.

3. Better tension in your chestPecs are strongest when the arms come across the body.Cables load this position perfectly.

4. Less shoulder stressDumbbell flys stretch the shoulder joint hard at the bottom.Cuff cables let you control the range and stay in a safer position.

5. Better mind-muscle connectionNo handles. No momentum.Just pure chest contraction.

Most blokes will just sling heavier weights for their ego.The smart ones chase better tension.

And better tension = better growth.

Save this for your next chest session.
