MY TOP 10 FITNESS & NUTRITION TIPS FOR BEGINNERS ⬇️

1. Nobody in the gym is judging how much weight you can lift.
Everyone is too focused on themselves.

2. If you don’t understand something, ask somebody who does.
We were all in your shoes once.

3. Real results take time.
Sometimes a lot of time. Be patient and stop looking for shortcuts.

4. Don’t be embarrassed to log your progress and take photos of yourself.
It will help so much.

5. What you see in the mirror is not what everyone else sees.
You are by far your own worst critic.

6. You can still make progress without the scale moving.
Your weight is just a number, and there are lots of better measures of progress.

7. Focus on using correct form.
Going too heavy at the expense of proper form has absolutely no benefit at all.

8. Tracking macros is a great tool to help you get started and stay on track, but it’s not always necessary.

9. What works for someone else might not work for you.
Do what is best for you.

10. There’s more to life than working out & dieting.
Your fitness journey should be part of your life, but it should not be your entire life.

Gaining phase done correct ✅

Improvements from every angle 📈

Body fat increase minimally 👌🏽
(Body fat % increase is part & parcel of a gaining phase it can’t be avoided, but it can be kept to a minimal if everything in place is nailed on)

A gaining phase isn’t an excuse to get sloppy with your nutrition, week by week it’s important to be just as disciplined as your fat loss phase so you don’t get fat (the fatter you get the less you’ll build muscle & the worse you’ll feel & obviously look.)

Now we go into mini fat loss phase before Gavs holiday, this is where the magic happens as he’s primed to lose body fat a whole lot quicker with his calories being so high it’s a perfect starting point, I’ll show you all the end product in several weeks..

If you’re serious about building muscle:
Fat loss phase - gaining phase 🔂

Stop fu***ng about teetering between both, and commit to one, then commit to the other, simple stuff really brah 🤝🏽

What is it going to be?

Not perfection. Not motivation. Just a decision to raise your standards.

Your Sunday Reset Checklist:
✅ Plan your training days (and rest days)
✅ Sort your meals / food shop
✅ Set some goals for the week (nothing crazy just a few, any not met don’t stress, roll them into the followint week.)
✅ Daily steps (whatever your average step count was last week, aim for 2000+ more every day
✅ Solid sleep, no laying in bed scrolling through Tik Tok… 7+ hours minimum.

This is how you build a routine that works even when life doesn’t go to plan.
Because lads who win the week, week in week out for the majority of the time?
Win the year.
