We are incredibly proud and excited to welcome her aboard, and we look forward to working together to ensure women receive the high‑quality care, guidance, and support they deserve. Hi, I’m Emma – a Registered Nurse, Midwife, Nurse Prescriber, Hypnobirth Teacher and Acupuncture Practitioner with 35 years of NHS experience. I am now also working as an Independent Midwife, offering women’s health support and acupuncture at Essential Primary Care.

I’m passionate about supporting women’s health and improving quality of life at every stage – from menstrual health and fertility to pregnancy, postpartum and menopause.

Many women use acupuncture to support overall wellbeing and a wide range of concerns including fertility, PCOS, endometriosis, menstrual problems, pregnancy-related symptoms, menopause, insomnia, pain and anxiety.

Acupuncture, rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine, uses very fine needles to stimulate nerves, release natural endorphins, reduce inflammation, improve circulation and activate the body’s natural healing response.
