Today brought a change of sport for me and my Battle Axes teammates, as we swapped Walking Football for the annual Good Friday Marbles matches! As always, alongside the marbles was the hotly contested ‘Fancy Dress’ competition! Winning last year as ‘The Five Patsies’ we had a lot to live up to, and were thrilled to come a very respectable ‘Runners Up’ with our ‘Icons of Pop’ theme. (I won’t mention the actual marbles, we didn’t do so well in that! 😂). A fun day as always!

Bit of a different topic today but would really love to hear your thoughts! 💭

From a consumer (as opposed to creator) perspective, what are your thoughts/feelings around AI content, such as blog posts, social posts etc? Do you care, for example, if a blog post has been AI generated? Or do you want to know a ‘person’ has written it?

I have personally shied away from going down the AI route, feeling that if I put a blog post out there, I really want to have written it fully myself (even if it means I can produce fewer of them!). It feels more authentic to me. I have also stopped following people when I have realised a lot of their content is AI generated. BUT I am very aware that others have quite different opinions, and love how much more content can be created and delivered.

So what are your thoughts? Happy with AI content? Does it depend on the content type? Would you prefer a ‘person’ created it? Or no preference at all? 🤔

**NEW BLOG POST**
This month is about Performance Anxiety and specifically, those pesky ‘what if’ thoughts that many of us seem to struggle with! It is a short post (for ease of reading, I know you are all busy!) and I have only really scratched the very surface in this post, but if you are struggling, hopefully it is enough to provide a few ideas and give you faith that help is available 💕

One of the challenges I often support my clients with is performance anxiety. This can take many forms, but often involves a lot of unwanted thoughts cropping up at undesirable times. This ‘cognitive anxiety’ (our thoughts) is distinct from physiological (or ‘somatic’) anxiety (which may inv...

*When things don’t quite go as you hoped!*

I was in sporting action myself this weekend in the monthly walking football league with my Battle Axes team mates. We had high hopes with a strong team and gave everything to our performance. Unfortunately, a goal we conceded in the dying seconds of the final match, just edged us into second place. Doh!

This experience reminded me of a blog post I wrote a few years ago on ‘dealing with disappointment’ (link below). How it is absolutely ok to feel disappointed when an outcome isn’t as you hoped, but it is also important to recognise all the positives and learning points, to move forwards and continue to improve. We had a fantastic day overall, gave everything and will be even better prepared next time 💪🤩

It’s that time of year again! It always seems to come around so quickly?! I will be out of the office now for a few weeks and returning on Monday 5th January 2026. I will respond to messages and enquiries when I return.

I will have capacity to take on a few new athletes in January so if you have been thinking about reaching out, perhaps 2026 is the time?!

I would also like to take this opportunity to say a massive and heartfelt ‘Thank You’ to everyone who has supported me this year. Whether as a client, recommending me, a Facebook like or comment - everything helps and is greatly appreciated! I count myself as hugely fortunate to have the opportunity to do a job that I absolutely love and to make a positive impact for others. Wishing you all a fabulous festive season and good things for 2026!! 💕
