Spring Care PAs

Spring Care PAs Providing a person centred approach to Domiciliary and Live In care. Supporting you to live the life you want, safe at home in your familiar surroundings.

Spring Care PAs is owned and managed by a team dedicated to ensuring that we always give a first class service to our clients and that our PAs feel valued in their employment. The experience of our management team combines an in depth knowledge and understanding of the Domiciliary and Live In Care industry and other commercial business backgrounds. This combination has raised the bar in our service standards. We are well run and you will notice. We are regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) whose job it is to check whether our services meet national standards in the provision of care. Under their scrutiny the standards of planning and delivery of care to people in their own home has increased nationally. At Spring Care we work hard to ensure that we exceed those set care standards

Say hello to Keira, our Star of the Month! ⭐

Keira only joined us in May, but it feels like she’s been with the team forever. She’s the youngest member of our crew - but you’d never know it. Caring just comes naturally to her, and she’s already making such a big difference to the people we support 🫶

Well done, Keira - you’re a great addition to our team! 🥳👏

Janet recently attended the Friends Altogether in Rother Winchelsea Tea and Cake event and after listening to an inspiring talk by Miriam J. McGuirk gave one to the group herself about dementia and how it effected members of her own family 🫶

At Spring Care, our approach isn’t simply about following a textbook. Many of us know first-hand the impact dementia and other life-limiting illnesses have on families, because we’ve supported our own loved ones through them. That lived understanding runs deep within our team.

It’s why we show up every day with a balance of professionalism and empathy - not just caring for individuals, but walking alongside their families too. 💜

The next FREE Hearing Aid Maintenance Clinic is on Monday 1st September at 10.15 am - Red Barn Mews, just by the Co-Op on Battle High Street.

👉Hearing Aids reduce the risk of cognitive decline in older adults at risk of dementia
👉Even low levels of hearing loss have been associated with increased dementia risk and a decrease in memory and thinking skills

✨ Making Connections in Our Community ✨

On Saturday, Janet and Christine proudly represented Spring Care PAs and our partner Stay Connected Club Dementia Day Centres at the Tilling Tea and Cake event, organised by Friends Altogether in Rother.

💥They shared an important talk on the Herbert Protocol, helping raise awareness of this valuable tool to support people living with dementia. 💙

🤝Earlier this month they visited Disc Dementia, where they joined the celebrations to mark the opening of their brand-new office. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with others, exchange ideas, and strengthen the community spirit that makes such a difference.

It's ⭐ of the Month time!

We're delighted to award Carrie this month. Her dedication, compassion and outstanding service standards are always a shining example of our values in action.

🤩 We recently received a wonderful compliment from one of our younger service users, highlighting Carrie's exceptional commitment to making a positive difference:

"She always ensures that I feel like myself and I'm cared for properly by supporting me with things I can't independently do anymore. She fits so well into the household, me and the children always feel delighted when she comes through the door ... she takes a massive weight off my daughter's shoulders ..."

Well done Carrie!

Spring Care PAs and Stay Connected Club Dementia Day Centre : Proud to Champion the Herbert Protocol

🕰️Every minute counts if a loved one living with dementia or other vulnerabilities goes missing.

That’s why we're proud to champion the Herbert Protocol, working alongside Disc Dementia, Friends Altogether in Rother and Connections CAFE sussex to keep our community safe.

What is the Herbert Protocol?

👉A trusted, national initiative where families and care providers can securely record vital details about someone at risk of going missing—helping police act fast in emergencies.

Why complete a Herbert Protocol form?

👉Provides peace of mind for carers and families.
👉Ensures vital information is ready when needed most.
👉Proven to help bring vulnerable people home quickly and safely.

Who should use it?

👉Anyone caring for a person at risk of wandering (e.g. people with dementia or Alzheimer’s).
👉Forms can be filled out by family members, friends, or care teams.

Stay Connected Club and Spring Care, together with our partners, invite you to download the Herbert Protocol form here https://www.sussex.police.uk/notices/af/herbert-protocol/

Or reach out to one of our organisations and we will happily provide you with a copy of the form and support you to complete it.

Let’s work together to keep every loved one Safe and Found.

💙 The Herbert Protocol originated in Norfolk - watch this short animation for the true story behind it 💙

🌟 Dan has been awarded Star of the Month for exemplifying what it means to be a team player. In practice that means that Dan has been putting the needs of the team and our Service Users above his own, stepping out of his comfort zone at times and delivering a committed and reliable service. He brought the lovely Daisy with him to collect his Award, one of his many, many dogs ... and then look what happened after he'd got home 😂 Don't worry, we'll provide him with a new copy, laminated this time!! Congratulations on your Award Dan, and thank you 🌟
