Linda Reason and Susan Few had the privilege of attending the funeral of one of their dearest service users Leonard kemp ( len)
He sadly passed away earlier this year.it was a lovely service in a beautiful little church followed by the internment.
It was so nice to meet so many of lens family and friends even though it was sad saying our final goodbyes to such a sweet kind gentleman it was so nice to hear about all of lens younger days and to listen to some of the funny stories from the family

Domiciliary carers are never given the respect their incredible work deserves.

They’re the ones who travel from home to home, making sure people can live with dignity in the place they love most. From helping with personal care and preparing meals, to managing meds and simply being a much-needed friendly face - they do it all with patience, skill and heart.

They work independently, adapt to every unique home environment, and build bonds that mean the world to their clients and families. Yet their profession is still too often dismissed as "just help around the house" - with pay that doesn’t reflect their expertise and little recognition for the vital role they play in our communities.

Domiciliary care isn’t just a job. It’s the foundation that lets so many people stay connected to their lives, their neighbours and their homes.
