Optimum Pain Management

Optimum Pain Management Optimum Pain Management was first established in 2017 by Dr Sampu.

He and his colleagues have dedicated their time and careers over the past two decades to patients with persistent and long-term pain working with and in the NHS. Optimum Pain Management was formed by Dr Swaroop Sampu in 2017 with the purpose of creating a Pain Clinic that will ensure individual treatment for patients and clients.

โ€‹At our clinic you will be able to discuss your pain management needs and formulate a plan of treatment with your Consultant. The team is supported by highly qualified and experienced medical and nursing personnel, all of whom are registered with the General Medical Council (GMC), Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) and Health & Care Professionals Council (HCPC) respectively. What We Do:

Whether you have been referred by your GP (NHS Patients), a medico-legal agency, an insurance company, your employer, or you have chosen to attend our clinic yourself, we are able to offer you a comprehensive assessment of your pain and devise a management plan to support you in progressing towards your personal goals. All of our approaches to chronic pain management and treatment are evidence-based and are aligned to The British Pain Society Guidelines and The National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE) Clinical Guidelines.

๐ŸŒŸ Tired of Relying on Painkillers Every Day? There May Be a Better Way ๐ŸŒŸ

If youโ€™re struggling with persistent back, neck, or joint pain, and you're tired of taking medications that leave you drowsy or foggy, Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA) or targeted spinal injections could offer the relief youโ€™ve been looking for.

At OPM, we offer minimally invasive treatments designed to help you regain control of your life without over reliance on medications that often come with unpleasant side effects.

๐Ÿ’ก Why consider RFA or spinal injections?

โœ… Long-lasting pain relief (often 6โ€“18 months or more)
โœ… Reduces or eliminates the need for daily pain medication
โœ… Fewer side effects than tablets, no drowsiness, no โ€œbrain fogโ€
โœ… Minimally invasive with short recovery times
โœ… Targets the source of pain directly, no guesswork
โœ… Helps improve movement and overall quality of life

โš ๏ธ While these treatments are highly effective for many patients, it's important to know that results can vary, and they may not work for everyone. Our expert team will always carry out a thorough assessment to ensure these options are right for you.

๐Ÿ’ฌ Ready to explore your options? Weโ€™re here to help.

What Is Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA)?

Radiofrequency Ablation is a minimally invasive treatment that uses targeted heat to block pain signals from reaching the brain offering long lasting relief for chronic pain.

Hereโ€™s how it works:
โšก A small needle is guided to the affected area
๐ŸŒก๏ธ Radio waves generate heat around the nerve tissue
๐Ÿง  This heat interrupts pain signals without affecting the surrounding body

โœ… Safe
โœ… Drug-free
โœ… NOT the same as radiotherapy

RFA is commonly used for chronic joint, neck, or back pain, especially in conditions like osteoarthritis or nerve related pain.
