MEET SUZY!! 🚗

I’ve upgraded this week from my beloved little green machine. She will soon be finding a new home with our kids in Lincoln.

So when you arrive for a treatment and this gorgeous little pink lady is parked in Shalom parking it is not a client still in with me - it’s my ‘new to me’ car!!

Isn’t she gorgeous! I love the colour! She is cute, nippy to drive, economical and I simply love her already. So when you come for a treatment be sure to say ‘Hi!’ 👋🏻 to Suzy on your way in. 🤗👣💆🏻‍♀️🕊️

WE HAVE WIFI!!

Finally!! Only TEN weeks after booking them to move my WiFi router, BT Openreach finally found my new treatment room. 🤦🏻‍♀️

It was challenging for them to find the new room a full 20 meters from the old one. 🙄 At least we are finally connected and have full WiFi signal for working with and for clients to use during their visits.

As Bawtry has limited reception, it is once again possible to connect to the WiFi for calls, messages and for making payments as required.

I think this was a final major hurdle to get moved over and fully set up in the new premises. I hope it makes your visit to Shalom easier and more convenient. 🤗👣💆🏻‍♀️🕊️

SMILE!!😃

As the saying goes ‘Smile! You’re on candid camera!’ 📸 I’ve added a video doorbell for increased safety.

So especially in the winter when it gets dark early you can feel even safer coming and going from Shalom Holistic.

Your cars are also safer as they are directly across from the camera so we can keep an eye on them. I care about safety first at Shalom Holistic. 🤗👣💆🏻‍♀️🕊️

NEW BOWL!!

This lovely little felt bowl was made from alpaca yarn from Tickhill Alpacas. It is now on the cart near my massage table. It will give clients a nice safe place to put their jewelry while they are on the table.

I love using and supporting other local small businesses at Shalom! We are all in this together. 🤗👣💆🏻‍♀️🕊️

NETWALKING WITH ALPACAS!! 🦙

Yesterday I started the day networking with alpacas at Tickhill Alpacas. The morning was arranged by Doncaster Chamber.

My favorites were the two baby alpacas and the lovely brown one with the white face. It was speckled all over so looked like it had been painting.

It was a great morning learning about this wonderful local business and meeting some other amazing local business people. 🤗👣💆🏻‍♀️🕊️

LOOKING SHARP!!

When I moved in, the cube shelf was now on show and straight ahead as you enter Shalom. I decided the Kallax boxes were looking a little tired and tatty and I’d work on replacing them.

Then last week I found the basket-boxes at a bargain price on FB marketplace! 🎉 So I changed them over. However……I was left with one annoying red box driving me 🤪 😳🫣

So, last Thursday we trecked off to IKEA and bought three more black cupboard inserts and four tidy new black boxes. So my crazy multicolored cube unit is now classy and coordinated. 🎩

Besides it needed to look its best for the Grand Opening this past weekend. 😉 What do you think of the transformation? 🤗👣💆🏻‍♀️🕊️

MY BALLOON HEROES!! 🎈

These two lovely lovely ladies are on my membership and had their monthly appointment on Friday evening.

They spent the first hour being my balloon heroes though and helped me blow up and assemble all of the balloon decorations for the Grand Opening!! 😍

They also arrived with a lovely card and gorgeous bouquet of flowers as a Grand Opening gift because they couldn’t make it on Saturday. 💐

I really appreciate all the help I’ve had from friends, family and so many of my incredible clients. 🥰 I’m touched and honored at their support and help to make this dream a reality! 🫶🏻🤗👣💆🏻‍♀️🕊️

STAR OF THE SHOW!! 🌟

My precious little granddaughter came to the Grand Opening (she brought her parents too😉) and she simply stole the show!

She particularly liked my little Fufu bear knit by refugees in Iraq (he tasted yummy evidently). Then she had a lovely conversation with my animated Grogu (baby Yoda). 😍

She thoroughly enjoyed her first visit to Grandma’s treatment room and very obviously gave it her seal of approval!! 😘😍🥰🤗🕊️

GRAND OPENING!!

It was a quieter day than hoped for but a lovely one!! Jane arrived to cut the ribbon. I thanked everyone and Steven prayed a blessing over the business.

Then we tucked into some cake and snacks and had a lovely time. Thank you to friends and family that came to support, clients who came to celebrate and a couple new people who popped in to find out what it was all about. I hope to welcome you as clients in the near future. 🤗👣💆🏻‍♀️🕊️

Shalom Holistic is well and truly open for business in its wonderful new home!!

TODAYS THE DAY!! 🎉🎈

Come on down and visit the new Shalom Holistic premises. Saddler’s Courtyard, South Parade, Bawtry DN10 6GD. Spot the green bordered sign adorned with red and gold balloons to find the entrance tit he courtyard. 🎈

Ribbon cutting at 12:15 and prize draw at 2:30!! There’s cake and other snacks, hot and cold drinks and a chance to see the newly renovated space. You could also chat with me about how Shalom may be able to help you along your wellbeing journey. 🤗👣💆🏻‍♀️🕊️🥳

Nearly everything is ready for the Shalom Holistic Grand Opening tomorrow from 12-3pm!! Come along and join in!

Feel free to park anywhere in the courtyard EXCEPT the spaces reserved for Robinsons! You can also park on the road if there are available spaces. Thanks for being considerate of the only neighborhood business that is also open on Saturday.

MY NEW MASCOT!!🐟

Meet my new mascot at Shalom. I’ve named him Gattefosse! My fellow aromatherapists will understand why. 😉

For those who aren’t qualified aromatherapists - Gattefosse was a French chemist who is known as ‘The Father of aromatherapy’. 😁 He discovered the therapeutic benefits of lavender essential oil. 💜

This little fellow is gorgeous and flamboyant and even came dressed in my corporate colours!! Book in to come and meet him or come along to the Grand Opening on Saturday.

I’ll be hanging out with Gattefosse! 🐟🤗👣💆🏻‍♀️🕊️
