We’ve had such a busy summer that we didn’t get the chance to show you of what we’ve been up to!

We have joined the Ipswich Town Football Club Dementia Cafe! ⚽️

What a fabulous morning of reminiscing for our residents recalling fond stories of supporting ITFC from the 1980’s.

Please see the ITFC dementia community supported by ex players who are ambassadors of the club.

The residents have enjoyed their first trip to Felixstowe after a long while! ☺️
Sunshine☀️. Ice cream 🍦. Chips 🍟. Paddling 🏄‍♀️

We are planning to go on weekly trips the whole of summer!!

The sun is out ☀️ and so is the Baylham Bus!! 🚎

We are soo proud to inform you all that we are now going to do the weekly trips again as our bus is now back up and running!!! (weather permitting)☀️

Our initial trip was at the Needham Lake!

Everyone’s enjoyed the lovely sunshine!! ☀️

Our activity team is also now on full blow as have now got lots of exciting activities over the summer period!!

We will definitely share with you all of the good stuff that is happening here in the home.

And the glorious sun is out!!! ☀️☀️☀️

We have had a fantastic Easter!!!

Residents DR and MH won the ‘Guess the bunny’s name’ 🐰🐰🐰

We have also managed to get the bus up and running again! Such a glorious time as we’ve found a bird’s nest in it!
Time to have it MOT’d and we will be back up on the road! 🚌🛣️

Spring has sprung! 🌸🌺🌼🌷

Baylham has had significant changes over the last couple of weeks as we now have our new head chef,👨‍🍳Gabi and would like to welcome our new home manager, 👩‍💼Tracey.

As the sun has started to come out, we have a lot of exciting and fun filled activities for all of our residents and the staff alike!

This month, we have had Alice who has performed opera songs to everyone! We have received some positive feedbacks and the residents enjoyed it really well.

Mothering Sunday and St Paddy’s Day have been popular as the residents get to spend it with flower arranging and to our suprise, two leprechauns have shown up! 🍀

We now have our own gardening club. We’ve started by repotting the pansies onto the colourful pots! Vegetable patch is also paving its way.

The residents have helped us tidy the shops in the dementia village. Was very proud of how everyone’s chipped in and helped clear the garden!

We would also be cheering for our very own football/bowling team - Baylham Blues! 🔵 Go Team! 💪

Everyone needs to keep an eye out for the afternoon ice cream van as it’s making its way to the residents’ tum tum! 🤤🍦

We also now have got our own karaoke machine! 🎤
Team Baylham will soon conquer The X Factor! 🥰
