✅ Look at your clients and see what the common denominators are.
✅Take those common traits and lookat turning those into pain points and how your services solve those.
✅Create customer profiles a name, age, occupation, pain points,
✅Look at where you might find them on social media or via local advertising, think what are they influenced by.
✅Start focusing on those channels and giving value content such as top tips ;) to attract them to you and build up trust.

Follow these simple steps to find out which hashtags are the right ones for YOU and your brand

✅ Check out the competition.
You don't necessarily want to model your competition just take a look at the hashtags that they use, and they might give a clues as to what's working for them.
✅ If your audience is already using a certain hashtag, then other people like them are probably using it too. You can find existing Instagram communities, and it's a great way to expand your audience and reach the people that are most likely to be there.
✅ You can keep an eye on your top followers and then you can see what hashtags are using because it comes up next to it.

SHOULD I GO ORGANIC?

There are two types of social media activity used by businesses to engage with their customers: ‘organic’ and ‘paid’.
Both have their advantages and limitations, depending on what you are trying to achieve and successful businesses will generally use a combination of tactics, depending on their skill set, budget and level of ambition!

Any activity which you undertake yourself on your social media channels and doesn’t involve paying money for is 'organic’; whether that’s posting on your timeline, responding to customer questions, or getting involved in a conversation on someone else’s timeline. Organic activity is easy to do, but takes time and plenty of ongoing effort to see big results as reach for organic activity is often limited.

Any activity which you pay the social media channel for, including ad spend and boosting your posts is called ‘paid’ activity. Investing in your posts/adverts is a good way to extend your reach, but it’s important that they reach the right audiences, by targeting specific customer groups and building custom audiences.

Here are some simple steps to creating a social media plan
✅ Use your business goals and targets to help you map out what you want to achieve with your social media activity.
✅ Write down your goals and give them target numbers – and whilst you’re thinking about them, consider which specific audiences they relate to.
✅ Wherever possible, make them specific, achievable and realistic. Don’t forget to give yourself a timescale in which you want to achieve them.
✅Think about how social media can help, for example:
Are you trying to increase footfall to your shop?
Are you trying to increase sales per customer, or by type of product?
Do you need to increase awareness of your own brand/products?
Do you need to change the perception of your own brand/products?
How frequently do you want your customers to buy from you?

Top Tips for creating great adverts on Instagram

✔️Think about what you want to achieve from advertising on Instagram and choose the type of advert carefully, with a good call to action.
✔️ Think about which of your posts usually get the most ‘likes’ and engagement and create something similar.
✔️ The quickest way to start advertising is to promote a post. All you need is an Instagram business account. You can then track the results through the Promotions tab on your profile.
✔️ Think about your target market and get to know your audience. What are their pain points? How will you solve their problems? Then use that knowledge to create engaging content.
✔️ Instagram is all about the image, so use text sparingly but use it well. Be concise with a good call to action.
✔️ Always respond to comments and likes. Your comments are public and will help all potential buyers to build an impression of your brand.

✔️ Stories ads - These are full screen adverts that look like normal user’s stories. Allows you to create fun and engaging ads using Instagram Stories features, like filters, video and adding text.

✔️ Photo ads - Great for grabbing attention if you have high quality images.

✔️ Video adverts - Videos on Instagram can be a great way to introduce yourself or your products to your audience. Maximum length is 1 minute, but you can make an impact in much less than that.

✔️ Carousel ads - Users can scroll through a series of product images or photos, so you can quickly convey a picture of your brand.

✔️ Instagram Collection ads - Allows users to buy products or services directly from your advert. When someone clicks on the ad, they are taken to an Instagram shopfront, where they can purchase.

✔️ Instagram Explore - Users can ‘explore’ new content and accounts they may not normally be shown. This is an added feature for photo or video adverts and your ad appears after someone has clicked on a post in Explore.
